The New Building
"In Norse mythology, Valhalla also known as "Hall of the slain" is a exalted, enormous hall located in Asgard. Chosen by Odin, the one-eyed-all-father, half of those who die in combat travel to Valhalla upon death, led by valkyries, while the other half go to the goddess Freyja's field Folkvangr. In Valhalla, the dead warriors join the others who have died in combat as they prepare to aid Odin during the events of Ragnarok, the battle at the end of the world." Informed a pacing Jessie, we decided to huddle up in my room trying to soak up everything we just witnessed yesterday and also gathering the information we needed.
"The "Valhalla" we just witnessed yesterday was nothing like the description you just read, that place behind that blood stained wall is a butcher place." Theo snapped. As he continues to get tense, I felt the wind grew more violent. It's best to leave him be, knowing him and his history of people trying to calm him I stayed quiet and just listened to him.
"Should we call the cops or something? I mean those dead bodies ARE Hellvanians! Our seniors nevertheless." Octavia said as she cries, not able to handle everything that she just witnessed.
"Are you nuts?! No, we are not calling the cops. If we're gonna do that, we're gonna break the most important rule. Rule #1. Let's not jump into conclusions yet. " Objected Jessie. Theo further snapped by this comment. He looked at Jessie, arms clenched and ready. The wind became more violent. I saw the leaves from the trees outside being blown away and branches snapping from the force of the wind.
"Okay miss I am a good Hellvanian. Are you dumb? Or have you been brainwashed by these idiots you call "school officials"? The rules are long gone. We can't follow those stupid rules after what we just witnessed!" Jessie wanting to stand her ground and knowing Theo is threatening her with the sudden violence of the wind outside, she starts to quake the ground beneath us.
Having enough of this unnecessary argument and the show offs of their abilities, I stood up and place myself in between them. I looked at them and said, "Are you seriously doing this right now? Both of you are in the verge of losing your crap but threatening each other with your quirks is just childish. Both of you need to cool down."
Thankfully both of them snapped back into reality and into their individual humanity. Theo huffed and went outside to cool of, for a guy that can control the wind, he sure is hot headed. A few minutes later, the girls bid their goodbyes and went to their dormitories. I flop down my bed and looked at my now full luggage. I stared at the sticker that was placed at the center of it. "Hellviana Elite and Extraordinaire"
"Considering what we saw, are we really safe in the new building?" I said to myself, I rolled to the side of my bed and let myself succumb to sleep. Hopefully what we saw is just a misunderstanding, but how can it be a misunderstanding? Those were real dead Hellvanian bodies with tubes attached to them. Nevertheless what we saw changed our perspective about our school. How many secrets did they hide from us?

We were woken up early this disappointed especially to the Hellvanians that partied up all night. I woke up and already saw my friends, I was happy to see Theo and Jessie talking to each other, it seems that they buried the hatchet and is now civil to each other. I joined them and painfully carried my luggage down the stairs, thankfully Theo saw that I was struggling carrying my bags and pulling my suitcase so he helped me by using his ability and ascended my bags up in the air. As usual the girls and the boys are separated much to our dismay, we were looking forward seating in a bus together as we experience the relocation. Theo and I were the first ones to enter the bus. We quickly sat down, Theo begged to be in the window seat, and to spare me from his annoyance I switched seats. We venture off in the cold dawn, I looked at the window and saw the old building of Hellviana one last time.
The journey was thankfully short, a couple of minutes later we arrived at the new place. I woke up Theo from his deep slumber just in time to see the gates open. My jaw drop from the sight of the new building. It was a beauty to see, and I was happy to see the building modernized and updated to the current technology. All of us quickly got off the bus, we even left our luggage in excitement. Our teacher ordered us to gather up, we obediently followed. We saw our school principal step on a wooden platform placed by our P.E teacher a while ago.
"Hellvanian Elites and Extraordinaires. This school has been a secret to us school officials, and finally we can proudly say this to you dear students. Let this sculpture be a symbol of to you my dearest Hellvanians. You must see and treat this sculpture as YOU, your HEART, your LIFE. My dear Hellvanian Elite and Extraordinaires, welcome to your new school!" Our principal announced, everyone clapped and cheered as they reveal a sculpture of our school logo, it was placed at the center, it further attracted the attention of everyone as they reveal a fountain beside it. I saw Jessie touching the ground and a couple of seconds later, the brown and lifeless soil spurted out healthy and green shrubs and colorful beautiful flowers.
The new building quickly wooed me into forgetting the old building. We were first introduced to the hallways, it now has lockers that apparently you can customize. From its colors to its shape. There were no physical locks either, instead it has a touchable screen and a digital five digit lock screen. We were next introduced to the classrooms, gone were the chalk boards and butt breaking plastic chairs. The new digital white board apparently makes things way easier to both teacher and student, it has the ability to screenshot everything you write and the screenshot can be shared through our phones, honestly that didn't bother, I was already happy to see cushions on the chairs, my butt will be happy about that improvement.
After that we headed to the new cafeteria, it was much more spacious and more digital than the old building, there are still cafe staffs but the only job they do is preparing the meal and restocking the machines when empty. I was just happy that I don't need to tackle someone to get the last piece of the delicious pizza they have.
"Okay now that we are done with the essential school places, we are gonna check out your new dorms." Said our the teacher handling our tour. It was still the same as before. The boys and girls dormitory are separated with the only exception is that...
"Since we ran out of budget we are sorry to inform you that you have to share a room with four other people. The name of your roommates are placed on your doors. Have a nice day everyone." Our teacher quickly bolted away, probably to save her from the groans and moans from these ungrateful Hallvanians. I mean how bad can it be sharing a room with two other people?
"Hey, Zion apparently we're roommates!" Inform a very happy Zion.
"No way, whose the other two?" I replied, we quickly looked at the sheet of paper scotch taped on the wall. Our smile quickly faded at the sight of a name on the paper.
"Kyle Inigo Amos and James Joseph Lao." We both read.
"James Lao."
"JAMES LAO?!"
So much for a good start at the new school building.
