4 Mendez Dynasty

Hellviana Mendez was one of the most prominent person in the Philippines. He successfully pioneered the Philippine culture into the worldwide market creating numerous deals, profits and interest that helped make the Philippines foster and grow. Few years after he found success, he moved back to his birthplace, France and later met and got married to the world famous Le'vioure Kate Beaulieu, she was a well known actress staring in blockbuster movies like "The world beyond" "Wrap around" and "Lies". She was also a well known model in France gaining media attention after her collaboration with Playboy Magazine. She later on opened up a clothing brand called "Beaulieu For You", it became an instant success garnering a massive amount of praise for its fresh designs and trendy styles. Together they were blessed with three children. The eldest Claire Marie Mendez, the middle child Sophia Euphoria Mendez and the youngest Lorenzo Marco Mendez. They were the famed Mendez family dynasty.

In a sudden turn of events, the Mendez family left their fame and fortune and started to live back in the Philippines, there they live simple but happy lives. Later on Hellviana and Le'vioure decided to invest on things. Retrieving money from their massive fortune, they helped founded and created a school in Hellviana's hometown in a small town located in Bohol, Philippines.Together with his best friend Michael Fortuna an up and coming business man, they created Fortuna Mendez Academy. A school that provides high standard academics but with a lower tuition fee than other schools. It later became clear that their investment was worth it, hundreds and thousands of students enrolled at Fortuna Mendez Academy. The school quickly surpassed the established schools in terms of standards, number enrolled students per semester or academic year, and of course salary.

Fortuna Mendez University was unfortunately short lived. Claire, Hellviana's first born daughter, fell in love to Adam, Michael Fortuna's first born and only son. Confident about their father's relationship, the two began their plans for their marriage. Michael Fortuna was happy to give his blessing but Hellviana refused to give his, prompting the marriage plans into a halt. Hellviana later admitted the reason on why he didn't gave his blessing to the marriage.

"Adam is not good enough for my daughter. I already have a suitable man for her and it is not Adam." Hellviana announced through a broadcast interview. This response tarnished the relationship between the two founders and caused a year long bickering between the two. Eventually it got worse and caused an unwritten rule; No Mendez shall have any sort of relationship to a Fortuna.

This unwritten rule greatly upsets Claire and for the first time in her 18 years of existence, she decided to follow what she wanted not her father's. Every night she would sneak out of their family manor and into Adam's arms, with the help of her siblings they managed to keep the sneak outs a secret. Until one night.

"I'm gonna head out" Whispered Claire to her siblings as they washed dirty dishes after dinner. The other siblings sighed in annoyance, this would only mean yet another cover up. The siblings quickly ran upstairs into their bedroom after doing their chores. Lorenzo quickly pulled out the dummy they created to disguise as a sleeping Claire. The six year old boy then climbed onto the vines that directly connected to his elder sisters' room. He would knock four times with an extra quick knock at the end, it was their secret password they created at their first cover up. Sophia opened the window and grabbed the dummy, she would then place the dummy in her sister's pink bed and cover it with using the comforter and some spare blankets. His job done Lorenzo would climb back into his bedroom and immediately sleep.

"Wait, it's still Tuesday Claire. You and Adam promised to each other AND to us that both you would only meet on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays." Asked a confused Sophia. She may only be a 10 year old petite girl but she was the smartest and the most clever among all of them.

"It's our two year anniversary. I want to surprise him with something. Now come on open the window." Ordered an enthusiastic Claire, she wore her mother's expensive black night gown, her lips were ruby red after applying the lipstick her father bought as a present.

"Okay okay. Jeez so excited. Say hi to big brother Adam for me." The ten year old giggled, she was happy to see her sister in love and smiling.

"I will." Claire replied. Claire Mendez left the Mendez Manor at seven in the evening not knowing what will happen to her afterwards.

Claire Marie Mendez sneaked out to meet her long time forbidden boy friend in the bitter cold night. She held in her hand a small paper containing her surprise for Adam. The paper contains the result of Claire's pregnancy test she took two weeks ago, it arrived just this morning handed by her friend that came along with her during the test. As she passed by a local pub, she spotted a familiar face, her heart leapt in joy as she recognized the person she's looking. It was her boy friend Adam existing the pub. She was about to run towards her man but to her disbelief, a woman existed a couple of seconds after Adam's exit.

"Maybe she's Adam's friend." She said to herself, not wanting to jump into conclusions. Convinced she started to cross the road, smiling in joy as she imagines Adam's reaction to her pregnancy.

"Baby, you're too drunk to walk. Let your baby mama help you." A woman's voice echoed inside her head. It didn't took her seconds to realize that the voice she just heard was the woman's voice. Tears fell down to her cheeks as she watch the unknown woman kissed the man, she taught wouldn't hurt her.

She ran as fast as she could, away from the busy streets and into the woods. She couldn't bear the sight of Adam and that woman. How could he do this? How could he cheat on him? Let alone impregnate her while he was still in a relationship with her? She stopped running, and settled down near a white bare oak tree. She silently watch the stars twinkle by the moonlight, star gazing wasn't really her thing but this time, she felt like she had done this for quite some time. The night breeze further help her to calm down and at ease, it was like Mother Nature knew what happened and is now helping her soothe the heartache away. She taught of the good times with Adam, his smile, his eyes, his lips and then his promise.

"As long as I live, I will never let anyone hurt you nor will I hurt you." This echoed in her head. The lies of what he said enrages her. Not all men lies but this one does. She looked up the stars above her. She wondered what would happened if she disappear. Will her family miss her greatly? And what about Adam? Will he too miss her? It was a selfish random thought, of course her family would miss her! They are her family. Her siblings that helped her sneak out, her Mother that supported her, and her Father that protected her and gave her tough love for her to grow into and independent lady. They love her.

"What about Adam?" A random thought crossed her mind.

"Will he miss you?" Another thought crossed her mind, this time it wasn't her inner voice. It was someone else's voice.

"You can disappear, I know you can and I know you want to. For you to disappear you just have to focus and wish. " The unknown voice was right, deep inside her heart and mind, she wanted to disappear. Just a couple of days would be enough, enough time for her to think and recuperate. It's enough time for her to mend her broken heart. With mind and soul now convinced by the idea she looked at the night sky one last time, before uttering the words.

"Let there be no more pain for me."

Claire Marie Mendez disappeared that night, never to be seen again. Her disappearance paved the way for the Fortuna Mendez University's shutdown and the birth of Hellviana Le'vioure International and The Empyrean Fortuna Acadia. She was also the first recorded Hellvanian Elite so far.
