Into The Maze: We Need Water!

My mind drifted off as we continuously walk and find someone, alone or in a group but preferably alone, and get his or her or their tag. James thought of an amazing idea to see if there's any individual around. His idea was, to send out leaves that Jessie is controlling, and with the use of Theo's ability to control the wind, let those leaves drift around to scope out the area. It was a brilliant idea and we executed that idea in a heartbeat but unfortunately, so far, there was no one in our vicinity. No lone wolf walking around, no groups of Hellvanians, there's not even monsters.

Tired and frustrated that we couldn't find anyone and snatch their tags, we decided to rest under a tree for a while and refill our energy.

"Do any of you guys have water to drink? I'm parched." Octavia requested as she slumps back onto the tree. Jessie perks up and smiles.

"I think I can help you with that." She stated. She stood up and touched the tree.

"Oh? What are you gonna do Jess?" I asked, suddenly intrigued. Is this yet another skill she has under her sleeves?

"Trees and plants can't survive without water. They need it to live." Jessie started. Theo perked up and started to watch Jessie work.

"Wait a minute, am not following. What are you gonna do to that tree?" He asked Jessie. She sighed and roll her eyes in response.

"Connect the dots airhead, I'm gonna use my ability to control plants and extract that H2O yall desperately want to have right now." She snapped. She later collected herself and started to work.

The veins on her neck showed up as she extracts the water out of the tree, we silently watch her work and was in awe of her ability. This ability is very handy when in times like this.

"Can someone give me a container? Something that can contain this water." She suddenly requested. We all scattered to find something to hold the water. Octavia quickly got up on her feet and took some metal scraps out of the metal walls. She hurriedly forms those scraps and forms them into a tiny bowl-shaped container and gave it to Jessie.

"Thanks." Jessie said as she placed the metal container and let the gushing water out and into the container.

"There, now you have some good water, my friends. You're welcome." She proudly announced to the group, happy that she solved our water problem.

*Plop*

Something heavy landed on the container, we didn't realize that the tress was still gushing out water and that the container is overflowing. Jessie stopped the tree from giving out water as we circled around the container full of water. She picked up up the object that landed on the container and examined it

"What in the world is that?" Octavia questioned.

"This is a ball of vines, this is commonly used by a Hellvanian that can control nature such as myself." Jessie commented.

"Wait, so that means there's something inside that ball of vines?" Theo questioned. Jessie looked at him and nodded in response. She then slowly tore the ball of vines to look at what's inside it.

"Holy sh-" Jessie exclaimed as she saw what was inside the ball of vines. She slowly reveals to us what she had discovered. We all gasp in surprise, we didn't know that this was in that tree. Who is dumb enough to put a very valuable thing inside that tree?

"That's a tag. Oh my goodness that's someone's tag!" James gasps, not able to contain his excitement.

"I guess that's two out of three. One more to go guys." I commented. This was a very lucky find for us, I mean what are the chances that we were tired and thirsty, we decided to rest on a random tree and later on, Octavia wanted some water and Jessie showed us one of her quirks and extracted water out of that tree that contains that ball of vines? Luck was on our side there and I was really happy about that.

"We just need to find one more tag and we're done!" Jessie repeated the obvious but maybe she was just thinking out aloud.

"Yeah, we didn't even come across a per-" Octavia was cut off from speaking when a loud noise boomed out of nowhere causing us to wince in pain and covered our ears.

"HEY! Get your hands off my tag, you slimy, disgusting, thieves!" A man's voice called out after the ear killing noise dials down. We searched and looked at the unknown man's location after quite some time, we finally found the man.

A tall, slight build, redhead man with wooden wings stood on top of the metal walls looking straight down at us. He was wearing a really cool mask that covers his identity but his eyes were visible due to a big gap on his mask. His gaze was sharp, sharp as knives that can kill and cut you to death. We didn't know what to do, we were still dazed and shocked by this man's sudden arrival. This is not going to be good.

"Stupid of you to leave this precious tag in this tree knowing there are quite a few Hellvanian Elites and Extraordinaires that have the ability to control nature!" Jessie screamed so that the man could hear her.

"Jessie is that you?" The man suddenly asked. He jumped down, backflipping, and doing the traditional hero landing pose. Show off.

"Do I know you?" Jessie questioned the man now standing right in front of us.

"I missed you so much, Jessie. I thought I lost you., it's been so long since I last saw you, Jess." He stated, he slowly and creepily walks towards us, reaching out

"Back off weirdo." Theo warned the creepy-looking man and stood in front of Jessie to protect her from the creepy man that was still slowly walking towards us, towards Jessie.

"You move one for time and I'll cut you up to death." He added. The wind started to sway aggressively.

"You know me, Jess, I know you know me." The man insisted.

"Take off that mask and show me your identity." Jessie requested to the man. He nodded in response and slowly take off his mask to reveal his identity.

"Colt? I-Is that you?" Jessie stumbled, shocked at the revelation.

Standing right in front of us was Colt Summers, a Hellvanian senior who graduated last year. He was Jessie's ex-boyfriend who was presumed dead after a horrible "accident" that happened a few days after their graduation.
