Chapter 357: Slept like a Dead Pig

Anna Jadwin was starving, and the dumplings tasted better and better as she ate.

Suddenly, the power went out.

The residential building across the street was still lit, "Is my place the only one experiencing a blackout?"

Wayne Bailey smirked in the dark: "Maybe the wiring got burnt."

"I'll call the property management…" Anna Jadwin fumbled for her phone.

"Ms. Sullivan, even if we report the fault now, they won't be able to fix it until tomorrow. If it's inconvenient for you, I don't mind if you stay at my place for the night." He spoke indifferently, with a polite and aloof tone as if he had no ulterior motives!

"No need," Anna Jadwin declined his offer, "I have an emergency flashlight, and I'm going to bed anyway. Mr. Bailey, I won't keep you here, you should also go back and rest."

"I'll have a look at the wiring."

"Do you know how?" Anna Jadwin questioned, fearing it might be dangerous.
