Goodbye 2

It was starting to get dark when Alicia decided to check on Yumi in her bedroom.

She just wants to check if Yumi is already awake. She knows that she's in no help at times like this, but she couldn't stop her self from worrying about Yumi.

Yumi is still young and vulnerable, Alicia is afraid that Yumi might make something that could cause harm to herself!

Alicia stopped in front of Yumi's bedroom, she took a deep breath before she knocked on the door three times.

Alicia waited for Yumi to response but no one answered from the inside and it made her anxious!

Alicia turned the doorknob open, it wasn't locked!

Alicia peeked inside to check if Yumi is inside, but then no one is in the room!

Alicia tried to check on the bathroom but Yumi is nowhere to be found!

She hurriedly went downstairs hoping that she will see Yumi there, but she only found Dimitry in the living room with his deep thought.

Dimitry snapped back to his senses when he heard footsteps on the stairs.

Dimitry looked into the stairs' direction, he thought that it was Yumi, but he is wrong.

"Honey," Dimitry called Alicia, he can see the anxiousness on her face!

"Why are you in a hurry?" He asked.

Alicia looked at her husband, " Yumi is not in her room," she said.

Dimitry knitted was stunned, " What?!" he blurted out!

Jin has just arrived at the mansion when he noticed the bodyguards seem to be in a hurry!

"What happened?" Jin asked Ryan when he approaches him.

"The Young Miss is gone again," Ryan replied,

"What?!" Jin wasn't in the mansion when Dimitry and Alicia told Yumi the truth, so, he doesn't have any idea why would everybody gets so worried that Yumi went missing.

This is not the first time that she escaped from her bodyguards though!

"I'm sorry Jin, but I can't tell you the details now, Japhet and I have to look for the Young Miss before she could do something that would harm herself, " Ryan did not wait for Jin's response as he hurriedly runs to the car where Japhet is waiting for him.

Just as Japhet and Ryan left, the two servants came out of the house. They were talking about something and Jin overheard them.

"What if the Young Miss would do something reckless because of what she found out today?" The first servant said.

"Ssshhh! Shut up! Are you cursing the Young Miss?!" The second servant scolded the other servant.

"No, it's not that I am cursing her. What am I saying is, what if she can't control her emotion?"

Jin's gaze followed the two servants, upon hearing their conversations, Jin realized that Yumi is going through something again and it made him feel anxious inside!

Yumi might be strong on the outside, but she is weak emotionally!

Jin did not waste time, he rode on his bike and drove out of the mansion.

He first went to the park where he found Yumi the last time she ran away from home but she wasn't there!

Jin is still panting, his legs are a little tired but he doesn't want to rest.

He shouldn't waste his time, Jin started to drive again, this time, he headed to the place where he could possibly find Yumi.

Jin looked up at the cemetery's name, he hopes that Yumi is here, visiting her mother's tomb.

Jin drove his bike to the inside, he still remembers the location of the tomb of Yumi's mother because he once followed her here in the cemetery and he secretly guarded her.

Jin stopped a few meters away from the tomb. He heaved a sigh of relief!

He was right!

Yumi was there!

She is sitting on the ground in front of her mother's tomb.

Jin stared at Yumi's back, he saw her shoulders shook as if she is crying!

Jin unconsciously steps forward. He wanted to approach Yumi and comfort her.

It's starting to get dark but Yumi did not move from where she is sitting. She just continued to stare at her mother's tomb. She has a lot of things to say but nothing came out from her mouth.

Yumi cried again, at least, crying lighten up all the burden that she feels inside!

Yumi heard noises from behind her. She turned her head to check and she froze when she saw Jin!

'How did he know I am here?' Yumi couldn't help but ask her self.

"I-It's you," Yumi blurted out with her hoarse voice.

Jin stopped in his track when Yumi spoke,

"Uh," It's the only word that came out of his mouth.

He felt like someone clutched his heart seeing her crying. Her eyes are already swollen!

"What are you doing here?" Yumi asked as she turns back her head to the tomb.

"T-The mansion is in ruckus because of you," Jin said.

"And... I am ... worried about you," He added.

Yumi revealed a bitter smile, "Would you like to join me?" She asked,

"Uh," Jin replied and then he approaches Yumi and he sat beside her.

"You must have a problem for you to cry like that," Jin said with his gaze on the tomb.

"This is my mother's tomb," Yumi said instead of answering Jin.

"She is a loving person, a good mother and she was always beside me when I needed her." Yumi wiped her tears while Jin just listened to her.

"I thought, she only loves me and my dad," Yumi pursed her lips to suppress her cries, "It never came into my mind that she could betray me and my dad,"

Jin automatically turned his head to Yumi and he can see the pain in her eyes.

Jin couldn't stop himself from embracing Yumi, he wants her to feel that he is always there, willing to listen to her.

"Ssshhh..." Jin consoled Yumi as he stroked her back.

"I hate him, Jin!" Yumi spoke again as he clutched her hand.

"I hate that man who ruined my family!""If I see him in the future, I swear, I will make him pay for ruining my family! I can never forgive him!"

This time, Yumi freed her self from Jin's embrace.

"I swear, he will never become happy in this lifetime!" Yumi said.

Jin stared at Yumi and he can see the hatred in her eyes!

It was already dark when Jin brought Yumi home, he stopped his bike in front of the mansion's gate.

Yumi gets off the bike, "Thank you for the time, Jin," She said.

Jin looked up at Yumi, "Just remember that I am always here for you," He replied.

Yumi took a deep breath, "I'll be alright on my own, Jin." she said.

Jin froze, he doesn't get what Yumi means to say.

Yumi gulped before she continued to speak, "This will be the last time that we'll talk like close friends,"

"W-What do you mean?" Jin asked with his knitted brows.

"You should stop coming to me when the times I need someone to lean on," Yumi said. "I want to forget my feelings for you, Jin, and I can't make it if I keep on seeing you or talking to you." she continued.

Jin went silent, 'Ouch!' it hurts inside!

'It hurts to see her giving up her feelings for me!'

"I think it's better if we avoid each other," Yumi spoke again. "It will be good for both of us,"

"I understand," Jin said in a faint voice.

"Goodbye," Yumi said, and then she turned and entered the gate.

Jin lowered his head, 'It's so painful!'

'Seeing her turn her back away from him is so painful because he knows, this time, she totally gives up!'

So, this is what she felt when he told her they should not get involved with each other romantically!
