In the 7 Bodies Demon Sect, the sect master and an elder had an affair. Resulting in the reckless birth of Kayashi Monogatari. Because both his parents had rather esteemed positions within the sect, it was assumed by his parents that his talent would be good as, if not better than, theirs.
Sadly, it was the contrary.
