14 A Lost Sword
A few weeks later,
Edric was standing before an F-rank dungeon maintained by Fire Eagles.
"Sir, you can now enter the dungeon," A person in a black suit said.
He was the person overseeing this F-rank dungeon.
Edric nodded.
"Let's see if it can help me stay sane,"
Edric was wearing a red bracelet. It's an artifact he got from his grandpa.

A few days ago,
After completing his daily training, Edric sat with his grandpa.
Telling him about the things that happen to him in the dungeon.

"What if I go insane during a dungeon raid and attack the people who go with me?"
His grandpa shook his head,
"It's simple, use an artifact to prevent that from happening."
Hearing his words, Edric pounder for a few minutes,
"What if an artifact didn't work?"
"It won't happen, but if it does, then you need something precious that reminds you of who you are."

"It is so nerve-wracking,"

He enters the dungeon.
He saw a green forest as soon as he entered the dungeon. The forest was inhabited by goblins.
"The air here is so fresh,"

He pulled out the same dull sword and ran straight into the woods.
"Fuck, where are the goblins?"
Despite running for five minutes, he could not find a single goblin.

Upon hearing some voices, he stopped running and headed towards the voice.
As he approached the source of the voice, he spotted a group of goblins hunting animals.
"There they are," He said with a smile.
He attacked the goblin from behind and killed it. Edric killed the goblins before they knew what had happened.
"It's working, I didn't feel the same as last time,"
He gazed into the forest with a smile.
"Be prepared goblins, here comes the future Emperor,"
Saying that he disappeared into the forest.
Outside of the dungeon,
"Is that kid going to make it out of the dungeon alive?" One of the helpers asked.
"I don't know myself," the black-suited man said,
"Why did the guild master let that kid enter the dungeon alone?"
"God knows."
"Sigh," Both of them sighed.
Inside the dungeon,
Edric was slaughtering the goblins left and right. He had already destroyed two goblin villages. As a result, he was able to level up three times.
Now he was approaching the last village.
"Let's use flames in place of the sword,"
He put his sword inside the inventory and summoned black and purple flames in his hands.
"Fireballs,"
In an instant, several fireballs appeared behind him, and as he waved his hand, the fireballs began whizzing toward the village.
As the fireballs struck the village, screams erupted.
Hearing the scream,
"I feel sorry for these poor monsters. I shouldn't use my flames on weak monsters."
His flames are ten times more intense than a normal flame. So, using them against weak monsters isn't a good idea.
In a matter of seconds, the entire village was reduced to ashes.

In an empty castle, a man sat on the throne. His face was hidden by darkness.
"Found you, son of****," The man said while opening his eyes. Both of his red eyes were glowing brightly.
As the man opened his eyes, around ten people appeared in front of him. They all bowed to him.
"We greet our eternal ruler." A person said.
"I sense the presence of ***** son," The man on the throne said.
"We understand," One of the people said.
After those words, everyone disappeared from the hall, leaving the man on the throne alone.
The man closed his eyes, and darkness enveloped him.
