13 Reunion

While the king is leading me to the heroes, the symbol on the back of my hand starts to glow a little.

The King opened a door in the hall and beckoned me to go inside. Once inside, we were in a garden.

One of the bushes started moving. And a wolf jumped out and tackled me to the ground. Licking my face, other wolves started to come out.

Starting a dog pile with me on the bottom... Again.

"Hey! What are you guys doing here?!" I exclaimed.

*Woof*( some humans told us they could take us to you.)

"Really?" I look over to the king. He was smiling and nodding his head at me.

The King spoke up."When Hiro told us that you have a family of wolves, we got them to move here. Oh and don't worry, that wolf Hiro injured is still alive. They're resting right now."

I give a thankful nod to the king. I spent a couple hours with my family, before the king spoke up."As much as I want to see a family reunion, we have kept the heroes waiting long enough."

"Ah, right. Forgot about them." I say.

Saying goodbye to my family, the king led me into a different room. It was a big room, with a big table that looks like it can hold around 20 people around it.

In the chairs around the table, are my old classmates. And the current heroes.

Everybody in the room stared at us. Or specifically me. Taking a seat, everybody starts asking questions at the same time.

Overwhelmed by the amount of questions I back away slowly. The King noticed my plight, and comes to my aid."Perhaps it's better to ask one question at a time."

Everyone realizes their mistake and quiets down.

One person approached me. It was the pretty girl Shiva."Sorry for being insensitive, but how did you die?"

Everyone leana forwarded wanted to know the answer.

"Well, mmmm, you see, while at a river during my sister's birthday, a fat ass jumped on top of me. The impact caused me to lose consciousness and I drowned."

There was silence for a moment before someone started laughing.

"Hahaha! That's how you died?! That's fucking hilarious." Doesn't take a genius to know who that was. Of course, it was Hiro.

"Oi! That's insensitive you jackass!" This person was someone I'd never talked to, but I respected them a lot. His name was Takeshi.

They may act and look like a delinquent, but they are the exact opposite. He defends people getting bullied, including me.

"Oh shut up. Everybody else here found it somewhat funny." Hiro said.

"Funny or not, you don't laugh at someone dying," Takeshi said.

"He has a new body now. So I don't see the problem. Hell, his new body is a lot better than his old one." Hiro said.

"Haaah. There's no use trying to convince someone as dumb as you." Takeshi said.

"Hey what'd you say?!" Hiro said.

While their arguing continued, I was asked another question, by someone I don't know."So how strong are you?"

I think of what to say before Hiro answers."If you saw my injuries, that should answer your question."

Once finished answering the question, Hiro and Takeshi continue their banter.

Another unknown student asks a question."Where did you wake up at? We looked everywhere, and couldn't find a clue of you."

At this question, everybody looks at me, including Takeshi and Hiro.

"Well, I don't know. I woke up in the middle of the woods. When I was looking for a place to sleep, I found a cave. In the cave was a dragon. It chased me until I fell down a hole. There I eventually found my way out. That should answer your question." I said.

The questioning kept going until the king decided to wrap it up."Alright, that's enough questions. We just need one more from him."

There was silence before the king finally spoke up again."Do you want to become a hero? Or do you want us to release you and your family back into the woods?"

I ponder over the question until the king spoke up again."You don't need to answer now. Just rest on it. You can answer it tomorrow."

And with that, the king dismissed everybody.

Everyone made their way back to their rooms.

I found myself in front of the garden door.

Entering the garden, I can see my family. The cubs are playing, while the adults are just relaxing, watching the cubs.

I make my way over to the pack and lay down. Thinking of an answer to the king.

Eventually, I fell asleep, knowing what answer to give.

Sorry for not uploading for the past couple of days

After a comment someone made I just had no motivation to write

Then I thought, why do I care? I have no friends
