Casper pov

It's nightfall Phenix and I were walking back. All we can offer is berries and small rodents. That's when I caught the sent of a Leppard, but the Leppard is injured rushing forward. "Casper it could be a trap set up. Casp come on leave it Meadow is expecting us." He yelled after me but was to late.

Leppards surround me. "Well well well what do we have here?" One of the said swiping at me. "I think its one of the whore's children." Another said pinning me to the ground. I tried getting up but they were heavy. Next thing I knew they were knocked off me. It was a Snake brown and red pattern scales. He was built like Curtis only with brown hair. The Leppards back up slowly. "This isn't over brat" the Leppard that had me pinned said before running off. The snake hissed before looking at my broth and me. "You ok?" He had a familiar feel to him. Do I know him from? I tried to think of where as I stood only to black out.

Phenix pov

I watched in fear of what the snake would do. Casper tried getting up only to black out. Before Casper hit the ground the Snake grabbed him. "CASP! What ate you going to do to him?" I growl getting defensive. "Relax I'm not here to hurt him. The Leppards however I want to kill. They took the female that I was going to mate with away. She did nothing to them all she was doing was gathering herbs. Next thing I knew she was forced marked by them. Looked at me tears of pain in her lavender eyes. That was till she ended herself. I don't blame her for doing so, I just wish I got to her in time. " I thought so the Leppard clan have been boosting their numbers by force.  "I am sorry for your loss. They are after our female as well. Only not to mate but to kill." I said catching his attention. "I can carry your brother back if you want." I kinda didn't want to do that. It was the protective male in me. Arrow has been wanting new Males around to protect Meadow. If this Snake can provide some aid in that cause. I have no choice but to bring him back. With reluctance I agree to the offer. The way back was an  awkward silence. I was trying to figure out a way on explaining to Arrow. Well that didn't need more thought because standing at the entrance in fox form growling was Arrow.

"Arrow it's ok he isn't the enemy." I said standing between the Snake and my open jaw brother. "What is his name? Why is Casper in that condition, and more importantly your late. Meadow has been worried sick. I just got her to sleep and now you show up with him." Arrow snaps I just now realized I don't know his name. "My name is Ghost and the reason your brother is like this, Leppards attacked him. If I wasn't in the area ,they wouldn't have made it back at all." The snake I mean Ghost said. Arrow watched Ghost for a moment before lifting his head in acceptance."come in so he can rest, and Meadow can meet you." He said turning and walking into the cave.
