Chapter 5 - Attack on Beacon Part 2
Screams, fighting and Grimms.
The fight began with the Beacon academy on fire, Grimms attacking innocent students and the White Fang fighting everyone that opposed them.
Jaune was right next to Adam's side, fighting some people that he recognised. Some bullied him, some used to throw trash at him, but now they were on their knees, bleeding and begging for forgiveness. Jaune couldn't help but to smile and look at everyone who is now obedient to him. Jaune touched Adam's shoulder and whispered to him,
"I need to find someone." He whispered and walked away, only hearing Adam,
"Don't get too carried away, Blondie" Adam chuckled and the Hell knight just laughed back. Jaune walked through the massive battlefield, and if anyone dared to attack him, he would use Thorns or Dimension Lost, so he was... well... Invincible.
Suddenly someone landed few frets infringe of him, and it was no one other than the fearless Ruby Rose, along with Jaune's beloved Weiss, Nora and Ren who betrayed him because of his undiscovered powers. Everyone stood either shocked or ready to battle. Ruby took a step forward and looked at her former friend who was now standing before her with his weapon in one hand and in his other one hi powers unleashing.
"Jaune please, this isn't you." Ruby said, with sadness and pain right in her throat, burning painfully whenever another word rolled off her tongue. Even though no one could see the eyes of the Hell knight, something deep inside was telling Ruby that even if this was Jaune, there was no going back. That this Jaune Arc, her Jaune Arc was lost forever... in a deep asylum where no one would ever see him again. Jaune just chuckled and pointed his sword right at the young brunette which was now gulping her spit, still holding onto the last light of hope.
"Out of everyone, you always believed in me Ruby. I don't want to hurt you. So stand aside, now" Jaune's voice was confident and bold, but not that bold for the Rose to stand back.
"No Jaune." She refused.
"Leave it Ruby-" Ren tried to say something to Ruby but she quickly interrupted.
"NO REN! Jaune please, I know how hard it must ha-"
"NO RUBY, YOU KNOW NOTHING!" Jaune suddenly yelled with all his anger and a strong wind emitted from him, causing the four opponents to fall backwards and injure them at the same time. Weiss groaned in pain as she noticed that around her wrist was a tight vine with thorns around it. Every move hurt her more and more. Everyone looked back at Jaune again. "YOU ALWAYS HAD SOMEONE BY YOUR SIDE! YOUR SISTER, YOUR FAMILY, TEAM, FRIENDS! I HAD NO ONE, NO ONE! For my whole life people used to tell me that I am nothing and that I will never grow up to be anyone! My OWN TEAM betrayed me and left me to die! My first love called me weak and useless! HOW CAN YOU UNDERSTAND SOMEONE LIKE ME IF NO ONE WAS EVER AGAINST YOU?! You are strong, brave, even without your semblance! I was nobody!" The blond boy yelled at them, and Nora with Ren suddenly felt a rush of guilt run on their bodies. Ruby looked at her friend who was now no longer on the good side.
"Jaune, but..." now the fearless Ruby Rose for the first time did not know what to say. What was she supposed to do? What was going to happen now?
Jaune's weapon transformed into a rifle and he shot inti the ground, creating a massive hole which engulfed everything around it. Ruby managed to jump away from it. However she noticed her three other friends hanging on the edge. She gasped as she saw how Jaune was smirking.
"This should be fun. How about we play a game? The game is that you have ten seconds to save your friends. If you manage to do that, I will leave you be, but if you leave anyone behind after the ten seconds pass, they will unfortunately end their life..." Jaune smirked, whilst Ruby shivered. She had three people to save, and ten seconds wasn't enough. She looked around as Jaune laughed like a maniac. "How about we start, 3, 2, 1, go" and Ruby tried going full speed.
The Red riding Hood first went to Ren who was easy to grab. She managed with her semblance transfer them a bit further away from the cliff,
"4, 5..."
Ruby rushes quickly to Weiss and tried to untangle her from the thorns. Weiss whispered and begged Ruby to leave her and save herself, but it ended up in Ruby shouting SHUT UP to her and her still saving the poor winter snowflake. Ruby just had the time to put her in a safer zone, before she dodged the bullet that Jaune shot. He smirked, and kept on counting,
"7, 8, 9..." Rybu's blood rushed and her head became dizzy after panicking so much. She jumped to save Nora and was just about to caught her, but then Jaune shot Ruby with his rifle. The poor girl landed right next to Ren and Weiss as they helped her up. Ren looked at Nora which was hanging off the edge, his eyes widen as he realised what his former had in his mind. "10. Oops, seems like you've forgotten someone Ruby," Jaune laughed and glanced over at the hanging gigner girl which had salty tears in her eyes.
"J-Jaune..." Nora whispered weakly, looking at the boy, her eyes begging for forgiveness and mercy. The Hell Knight just smiled evilly and stomped on one of the girls hand harshly. Twisting his foot, one of Nora's hands let go of the edge as she cried out in pain. She looked up again and let some of the tears fall into the deep asylum beneath her. "Jaune, please... I am so sorry for what I did to you. No one deserves to go through what you did. Please, just don't kill me, please..." The girl begged her former leader. Jaune's smirk disappeared from his face, as he looked at the girl. He then reached out for his mask and took it off, so the ginger girl could see clearly his sapphire eyes.
Jaune reached out his hand to the girl, and Nora gladly took it with happiness and relief in her eyes. However as soon as she let go of the edge and placed her feet on the walls of the hole, Jaune smirked and let go of the girl, letting her fall down in the deep void, while her scream echoed in everyone's ears. Ren screamed out for Nora, Ruby cried and Weiss hugged her best friend while letting out her pain. Ren collapsed on his knees and screamed into the sky.
"Well, it seems like my companion needs my help, so... bye!" Jaune waved and ran, following some Ursas to get to Adam as quick as he could.
When he approached the Taurus Faunus, he noticed that some other two other girls began running away from his companion, but Jaune didn't give a damn about them. He wanted to tell everything to him, he felt pride, a sinful delight in what he has just done. He killed Nora, he injured Weiss and traumatized Ruby... he will never be forgiven, but why would he care? No one cared for him when he fell down into this deep, deep hole, so why should he care?
Adam turned around and noticed his friend right behind him, put his weapon away and smiled.
"You seem happy, what happened?" Adam asked, stepping closer to Jaune as his smirk never left his lips.
"Let's just say that everything must come to an end." The Hell's Knight replied as he suddenly noticed how close he was to Adam. There was only about one or maybe two-metre space between them. The blond boy didn't know what was under his crush's mask, he had no idea what colour eyes he had. But something deep within him told him that they are... perfect. Then he looked at Adam's lips, they looked rough... and smooth at the same time. (I'm sorry if this seems cringy or weird, I haven't wrote any shipping stuff in a while).
After a while of staying silent, except the screams surrounding the boys, Adam decided to take another step forward. Jaune's hand traveled itself up to Adam's elbow which seemed to hurt him a bit. Adam hissed at the contact, but Jaune's touch was actually quite pleasing for him. Adam's hand, however, touched Jaune's hand. Both of the guys wanted this moment to last for longer, however suddenly a silver light emitted from the sky, causing Jaune to jump on top of Adam and shield him from the power.
Jaune groaned as suddenly he felt his tattoo on his back burn up. His head felt dizzy, and soon his surrounding became blurry, he could not hear nor feel anything. Only the high pitched sound in his ears.
"Jaune? Jaune!!"
