Chapter 2 - New weapon and semblence = new chapter, a new start...

Jaune looked around the big area, as panic rushed over his body. He was supposed to train here with Noki and Adam... with no weapons, no semblance nor confidence. He looked down at his shaking hands. He didn't want to fight, it only reminded him of the lessons Pyrrha gave him, always mocking him and calling him weak. Always leaving him on the ground and walking off...

"I-I can't do it!" shouted Jaune as he looked at the wolf Faunus. She just shook her head and smiled,

"Yes, you can. You just need to practise, and we will help you no matter what!" she reassured the blond boy. He looked down again with his eyes widening, and his breath becoming uneven. How the hell will he survive after this?

Suddenly Adam approached, taking a quick glance at Jaune who was sweating. Adam came over to him and touched his shoulder.

"Ready?" the red haired male asked the blond boy as Jaune only gulped. Adam had his sword, and his semblance was very similar to Yangs. He could absorb energy from incoming attacks and redirect it into his counterattack. However his could only work once and he needed his word on that. When Adam noticed how nervous was the newest member, he just chuckled and patted him on the shoulder. "You'll be fine," the Taurus Faunus reassured him and went to the battlering.

Noki then passed Jaune a sword, which was a lot thinner that his previous one. It had a softer handle, which had a golden rope laced around it, easier to grip. Jaune then got on the battle ring, looking at Adam, trying to work out what he was gazing at through his mask... The blond boy just shook his head and looked at Noki who held her thumbs up and crossed her fingers.

Well, surely as soon as they notice that I cannot fight, I will be kicked out in no time.

Jaune gripped onto his sword, as Adam stood in his fighting position. Jaune's brain paniced, but he had to get through it... But then when he looked up, he noticed something that scared him out to the max. Salem was standing and looking as the action was about to happen.

Out of nowhere, he heard someone shouting and he saw Adam charging towards at him. Jaune dodged his attack, and tried t odefend himself. Adam kept on swinging his sword at him, but Jaune only avoided his attacks and won't even attack back. Then when Jaune fell on the ground, Adam aimed at him, however fortunately Jaune managed tohold his sword in front of him so now it was just them trying to push their swords at each other.

"Kick me," Adam whispered to Jaune quietly. Jaune looked at the Taurus Faunus confused as they still kept on battling.

"What?" Jaune whispered back, not having a clue on what Adam was talking about.

"Kick me in the abdomen!" this time Adam whispered louder. Jaune did what the red haired male told him to, and Adam groaned. And losen his grip on the sword. Jaune then hit him with his elbow in the shin and rolled them over. Jaune's sword went up to Adam's neck as Adam dropped his sword in he sign of defeat.

Jaune stood up, and extended his hand out to his companion, which he gladly took. Adam suddenly felt a little shock going from his hand to Jaune's that made both of the males shiver.

Adam stood up, one hand holding onto Jaune's and the other one was place on his other shoulder. He smirked and then they both looked at Salem which just looked at the both males with a mischevious smile and clapped.

"Well down Jaune. But I see you used a bit of help," she stated, and Adam immediately blushed. Jaune laughed a bit, and then looked back at the pale grim woman. "I think it's time," she said to the man standing next to her, which had dark skin, black hair and a doctor outfit. "Jaune, come here," she gestured as she held out her hand to him.

Adam squeezed Jaune's shoulder and let him go as Jaune took forward to Salem. As he approached her, he took her hand and kneeled in front of her.

Suddenly her aura had shown, and Jaune felt a strange energy filling him up. It burned him from the inside, like a bright fire, and it slowly extending to his other parts of his body. He eyes glowed in gold and everyone stared at him in an awe, except of course Salem who was looking at him with pride filling her red eyes. Then, Jaune let go of her hand, standing up and looking at his hands. He never felt so...

Powerful

"Fight with Adam again. But this time, use you semblance." Salem demanded as Jaune took a last glance at her and nodded. He went down to the ring again, and noticed Adam smirking.

"Just to let you know, I'm not holding back anymore," he said confidentially. Jaune looked at his companion, with an emotion that no one could quite work out. Adam charged again, but this time he used his semblance on him. His power strikes at him, blasting out a massive ice blast, however Jaune moved his hand in front of him that made the ice melt as soon as it met his hand. Not all of the ice, just the one colliding with is body. Noki stared and cheered from the background.

Adam stared at Jaune in admiration but quickly shrugged it off as he charged at Jaune again, but Jaune managed to dogde his attack by jumping over the red haired male and attacking him from behind. He swung his leg and Adam fell on the ground, picking up his sword and trying to protect himself from Jaune, but the blond boy outsmarted him and managed to grab the sword, somehow not hurting himself and threw it on the other side of the ring. He held Adam in one place and created a white coloured energy ball in his hand which he was about to hit Adam with.

The Taurus Faunus waited for the impact, however it never came, what came out was a faint laugh and a phrase,

"Thanks for the cool fighting lesson Adam!" Jaune's voice was full of cheer. Adam blushed a bit as he heard those words, and stood up with Jaune. Salem seemed glad, and Noki was jumping up and down cheering and shouting for Jaune.

"Yay! GO JAUNE!" She jumped up and down. Jaune looked happily at Adam who highfived him and whispered Good job.

Time skip

"Woah!! This weapon is so cool!" Noki admired the new weapon Jaune just received and ran her slenderfingers on the blade that sharper than any knife's. The weapon could change into a rifal, katana or scythe, as well as shield. Jaune observed the weapon as it even nearly seemed talking to him. "I want a weapon like that! Adam, where is my weapon?" Noki asked as she looked at the red haired male. He sighed and let out an annoyed groan,

"Where the hell did you put it last time then? Besides, how many weapons have you already had? Two or twelve?" Adam mocked the wolf Faunus as she growled at him in threat.

But out of sudden, they both heard Jaune groan and turned towards him. Jaune rubbed the back of his neck, groaning. He turned towards Noki, and looked at her with tired eyes.

"Noki, can you check over my wounds again? I feel like I may have accidentally stretched too much and the stitches might have snapped," Jaune explained and Noki just grabbed his elbow, and dragged him towards a chair. Adam still hasn't left, watching the scene in front of him.

"Alright, shirt up!" she announced and Jaune pulled the shirt over his shoulders. Adam suddenly began obsering the Blond boy. His muscular back, his arms and his strong hands that were covered in sweat and bruises. How could someone like him be thrown away? He heard Noki laugh to herself. But what Adam and both Noki noticed was also the fact that now, on Jaune's back there was a strange symbol going from his shoulders to midway of his lower back.

Something was trickling down Adam's philtrum, so when he wiped it off and looked at his hand he noticed a red liquid. It was blood...? Adam was having a nosebleed? Adam the looked at the blond boy's back again and blushed again at the sight of his muscles. He never acted this way, especially towards another male. This only made him even more confused.

Noki then gasped and looked at Adam, she seemed to realise something but Adam and Jaune were confused. Adam, of her reaction, and Jaune because she stopped stitching him again.

After she stitched him up again, Jaune was so tired that he went to his and Noki's tent to go to sleep. Noki then smirked at the red haired Faunus which only seemed to not show any other feelings aside from confusion. Noki quickly grabbed hishands and looked ta him cheerfully.

"It's Love."

"What is?"

"Your feelings towards Jaune. You fell in love Adam!"
