1 The Ancient war.

War, War will never end, for man's lust for blood is unfaltering. For as long as anyone can remember the war has remained the same, unchanging kill or suffer an agonizing death. This cycle has been in place for over 200 years.Ever since the treaty, was broken, the treaty that kept the peace between the four great elder races(human, Elf, Fey, and Dragon) from turning on one other. But when the humans and elves attempted the eradication of the fey, the treaty was shattered. Which lead to the awakening of the order of knights known as the knight of seven colors.Though there have not been seven of them for quite a while. Four remains, three were killed in the battle against the black dragon. The leader of the dragon race, one of the most powerful beings in existence there were only three that could rival the black dragon.The king and queens of the fairy realm king Oberon.Along with his two lovely wife's queen mab and Queen Titania. The elf's leader Elrond could have extinguished the black dragons' life, but they did nothing. Ideally, they thought three of the seven knights would be sufficient to slay the terrible dragon.But how wrong they were, for when the knights never returned they feared for the worst.The knights were as formidable as an entire army of ordinary men. But for the terrible dragon to kill not just one but three of them this was a dire time indeed.There was one crucial issue with the fall of the knights their swords.The knights' swords were not mere human-forced or even elven forged. But they were devised by Merlin with the help of the celestial gods. They wielded the divine blades, and one was forged from the sun another from the divine tree(which grows by absorbing the blood of the fallen).The last one was forged from the eternal flame(the first fire given to man by Prometheus). Whoever wilded such devastating blades would have had the power to turn the tide in battle, but there was a problem the knights were forbidden to do so.They were never allowed to strike a human, fey, or an elf but the dragons, on the other hand, were fair game.The dragons were a formidable enemy with great and devastating power, when you think of a dragon you consider the giant reptile with wings. Admirably, when you faced off with one, you would be in for a tremendous surprise. They almost look human they possess the body of a human. But their eyes are golden and their wings are retractable.Sure they can choose to be a giant fire-breathing reptile with mighty wings. They would remain the key to victory if you wanted to wipe out your opponent's what pleasanter way than to burn them alive from a distance. To the fullest extent, the generals might not agree with this method.The generals were selected based on one factor their blood lust along with their thrill of the kill.This may seem very foolish but in this war, You must eradicate your enemy leave none standing if even one survives that can indicate the difference between life and death.Now the war is getting viler and viler, for now, the dragons have joined.They are like the generals compelled by a desire for blood. They came, for the humans who which was struggling to counter their attacks.However, the fey and elves suffered no problem not just avoiding enemy attacks they reflected it with twice the impact. During the time of the war, the humans, are such a young and inexperienced race. While the fey was the eldest. Of the races and with their age followed the mastery of the power they were given. They demonstrated devastating magical abilities and excelled at close combat they could also fly. However, they had an even longer lifespan than the elves did so the first fey is still alive. But the mere humans remain a fragile and lustful race.When the dragons swooped down on man, they gathered knights there and arches and fought with the last man and managed to take down a mere 5 low-ranking dragons. This was a disgrace in the eyes of their commanding officer Alice she was a lovely young maiden. With long golden blonde hair and eyes as blue as the sea, she was a gentle soul to those who she considers her friends.But don't allow the fact that she remains a woman to cause you to think she is feeble. For she is many things, but weak is not among them you would be wrong to think she is feeble. For she is one of the most powerful among all races she was instructed by the leader of the legendary order of the knights his name is Mel.As the war dragged on the human's numbers began to dwindle drastically and this was not acceptable as far as Alice was concerned. As a result, she decided to send her second in command. His name was Alexander.When Alexzander arrived at the front lines, a terrible realization affected him they were conducting a futile war.He realized there can never be true peace until man's numbers drop to one or less.So why try to rebel against fate why fight back he thought.At that moment he came to his subsequent realization who decided fate had power over him, who decided they could not succeed, who decides they can't obtain peace.They predict fate decided, but who granted fate the right to toy with others' lives.Therefore, he decided he was going to fight against fate and win this war and was going to make peace.Even if it kills him.He knew it likely would, so he returned to his lady.When he arrived, she asked why he had returned. Why he abandoned his comrades his response I cannot say but I did not merely flee for my comrades have died and I require a new sword. She understood and agreed with him, for he possessed nothing but a basic iron sword.Therefore, they began the journey to Rivendell, thankfully Alice knew where Rivendell was. In a couple of weeks they arrived, they were greeted and allowed to enter.They started searching for the great and powerful merlin she was the key to finding a sword fit for Alexander.Although finding her presented no problem.But getting Merlin to forge another divine blade is the problome.Merlin was the only one who could do it and it was not going to be easy to get her to forge a new divine blade.But then merlin refused and so they came to a compromise for merlin had an idea for she possessed a divine blade that was her own.Therefore, she told them she would give it to them, but there is a condition they must fight the dragons and obtain the divine blades back from the dragons.This will be no pleasant task not even close, the dragons are powerful.But Alice agrees to these terms and accepts her sword she asks what is yours, forged from and merlin replies I'm delighted you asked.It was forged from the holy grail.My divine sword is the fourth most powerful divine sword.As might be expected Alice's divine blade might have been more powerful for it was forged from the heart of the once-powerful demon king.Therefore, they currently were on their way out and merlin had invited Alice to discuss with her in private she agreed of course.As a result, Alexander left the room and so merlin asked Alice a question.Who do you believe I should give the divine blades to?Naturally, it was not Alice's place to decide for the gods to choose if one is indeed worthy.Alice replied by saying it is not my place to decide, ultimately that decision is left up to you and the gods.Merlin replied by saying this is precise. But what if you were to determine who you would select whom.She said I would bestow them to the humans. The elves and fey are already more than powerful enough while we humans are so weak and frail.Merlin agreed of course and Alice asked why do propose this to me?Merlin merely said just curious.Right away Alice was to vacate the room. She currently was seeking Alexander she embarked toward the garden down a winding peaceful path when she got there no one was there.Therefore, she decided to make her way toward the kitchen she thought maybe he just got hungry.So she walked and walked until she finally got to the kitchen.When she arrived at the massive wood doors, she pushed the doors open and no one except the cooks was present.Consequently, at long last, she had given up and decided she would return to her room and below and behold.He was there sleeping while she was running all around looking for him he was taking a nap.She was furious so what does she do she removes her sword from its Scabbard places the sword on her bed.But then picks up the Scabbard and smote him over the head.While yelling at him GET UP! He jumps up and yells DON'T HIT ME!!! THEN DO NOT RUNOFF TO TAKE A NAP YOU FOOL!!! So then they finally stop yelling at each other Alice what did Merlin ask you when I left the room?She asked who should be the next generation to receive the divine blades.Why would she ask you such an important question, so what did you say?I said it was not my place to decide for I am a mere human not worthy to make such a decision.That sounds just like you, Alice, but why do you think she asked you?Who knows she has always been difficult to read.But she did agree into surrendering her sword but you can not have it yet, for we have an impossible task to complete. First, we must slay the dragons and get back the divine blades, this may not seem like an impossible task but their powers are beyond measure for you have never had to battle the higher-ranking dragons. Alice what are you talking about I have fought dragons, Alexander they were mere foot soldiers compared to the real dragons there power is unrivaled and unimaginable.Alice, surely you are joking right for ''mere foot soldiers'' they have killed thousands of good men so surely this is a joke right? it's unthinkable why would you accept this fate how could you.We might as well kill ourselves for we will die either way anyway.Alexander, how dare you, do you have such weak and frail resolve, that you have given up before when even started?Yes, it will be formidable but still, I will not bow nor will I break, for I will not and can not and never will fear the enemy at hand, for if I did then I would be defeated by my own fear, which is utter weakness.The enemy will always exploit your own fear and use it against you as their most lethal weapon, Alexander you know this for I have told you before since you were a child, my young pupil, fight until you draw your last breath, do not allow the enemy to crush you for if they do then the human empire will fall.So you must crush them first always go into battle thinking that you can't be beaten. Forgoing to battle thinking that you have already lost.How you have truly fallen I acknowledge the fear but do not expect it for it will weaken your resolve your will must be unbreakable and unwavering or you will surely forfeit your life.Death takes no sides but his own he has only one purpose to reap he cares not who dies you are indifferent he would take you without another thought.Then what you can not achieve anything you are just dead weight your body holds no value just your skill as a fighter for when you die I will fill no remorse any emotion for if you die it's your own fault for you let the fear overwhelm your resolve and you let the darkness break you for that I would only fill pity for you, for you were broken so easily you must fight the darkness you must break there resolve crush there will too fight, for if you can do this then you are truly strong.But where you stand right now you are a mere infant facing a dragon you must strengthen your mind and I tell you do not let the darkness win you must fight or you must die.Which is it? Do you die a meaningless death or do you fight until your dying breath leaves your body and if your sword is not enough then use your body, if they tear away the flesh from your body then use your bones and slash away at their flesh make them bleed, gouge out their eyes make them feel your pain your rage inflict it all make them suffer for they shall not break your will, you must be stronger you must be tougher and be more willing to take on all of their resentments?You may think this sounds crazy why would you let them slash away at you for it is unnecessary you may think but you would be wrong.For if you lay down your life on the line then you will finally unlock your true potential for when a warrior is an inch from death and is willing to die .when you finally realize why you fight, why do you continue to live, what are you protecting, when you know these things then you will finally hear your swords call, for the divine blades are not mere swords they are alive they retain their past life and you must gain their trust.They must trust you and you alone, for if this bond can be unforged then you are in a world of trouble.The sword will not willingly enable you to borrow its power you must show them you have the power you must prove your worth to them and if they like what they see then you will be granted power beyond imagination.For me, that power is derived from the former demon king he was not willing to thought so I had to enslave him and bind him he is still trying to claw out and take control even at this moment but I will not bow. We are selected to be the knights and our wills must be unbendable at least mine is but Merlin's sword is different because what hers was forged from the holy grain and comes with all the knowledge this world has and ever will have. Can you comprehend what this means is What you would be trying to do, you would be trying to enslave a god, could you accomplish such an impossible task.Merlin is the only one who could at this moment but we both believe you possess the potential but you need training and experience.So that is the reason why you have to kill the humanoid dragons, not me, not merlin but you.My lady Alice why would you and merlin place all of your trust in me for I am just a mere footsoldier I have nothing and I could never enslave a god not even if I had a lifetime.I don't think I can do it I know I can't so please put anyone else in charge please my lady Alice I can't possibly achieve a feat like this.Alice then punches Alexander in the face with all her might which surprised him.You fool have you heard a single word I've said when I command you to do something you do it.It does not matter if you think you can do it but if lady Merlin and I think you can then you have no choice in the matter for I am your commanding officer Alice and you will obey me rather you like it or not.Do you understand me? Yes, my lady, I understand.Good, now then how do you plan to kill the dragons?Umm brute force? Haha, you fool, so I guess you're going to have to get training stay here I'll be back in a minute.So I guess I better go to Merlin for Alexander will need to be trained by her I will head over there but he is not going to be having fun for her training tends to a little extreme. So now let's begin Alice has there been in change has the sword taken over any more of your beautiful body? The sword and armor belong to me that's why.So I guess you better put your clothes back on and armor.Then go get some sleep you look like your dead.Fine, fine I'll be on my way.Alice then makes her way back to her room where Alexander was sound asleep.I'm going to sleep she goes to the bathroom takes off her armor and clothes and takes a bath.She puts on her nightgown and climbs into bed and goes to sleep.The next day she woke up very early to get ready for the new day she wakes up Alexzander he complains of course but eventually gets up.When Alexander finally gets dressed and ready and picks up his basic sword and then he realizes he has no idea where he is going.So then Alexzander asks where exactly am I going?Well, then I'm glad you asked, follow me right this way.So Alice leads Alexzander to Merlin's training grounds.Where here to meet up with Merlin so why is she here Alice?
