102 Speedy.

After copying the power of pietro I quickly absorbed it. The little crystal melted into my hand and my body went through some changes. First off was my brain. I could process things at a crazy fast rate. This is to help with adjusting to his speed movement. When I activated the ability everything around me seemed to grind to an absolute halt. It was like time had frozen. Being in the school lunch room however wasn't a good place to test things so I didn't do anything crazy.

My body had also received quite a few changes. Most noticeable. My durability went up. You can't just be running at super sonic speeds with out a special body. It would be torn apart, just your feet hitting the ground at those speeds would make them turn to mush. My metabolism also shot through the roof. Most people digest 25% of the calories they intake mine shot right up to 95%.

Another adjustment was to my lungs and eyes allowing me to breathe at high speeds and making it so my eyes and everything else don't dry out in the wind.

This body had increased stamina aswell so I don't get tired that easily. I'll still have to take in quite a bit of food but that's natural.

Next up I took a look at my hand and concentrated On it making sure no one was looking. It started moving back and forth rapidly vibrating before I popped it right through the solid table and back out again. Molecular vibration noice.

This would conclude my tests for now since I'm in public.

"Are you going to ask the professor for help getting your second power?" Jean asks me.

"Yes hopefully he agrees." I say chugging the chocolate milk.

"You've got no idea what you want for a third power?" She asks me.

This was true my second power was already planned out and easily accessible if the professor agreed.

"No I'm still debating on it." I tell her as she also starts thinking.

"Well it doesn't have to happen immediately we can wait for something to show up." She says looking at me.

"Yeah I'm in no rush." I say picking up her empty tray and carrying it to the drop off. "So what happened to Scott?" I ask her.

"I altered his mind so he just saw me as a good friend and he wouldn't say anything bad about you." She says not caring at all she just mind fucked someone to a different personality. That a girl.

She had also helped me evade the others most of the day who were seeking me out to ask questions. I like the fellows but I don't want to answer questions.

The rest of the day flew by. Social studies then P.E then study hall before getting to leave. I can just get all my homework done in study hall so I never have to worry about bringing anything home. Or I could stuff it in my locker and forget about it. But no we must have good habits.

After that we made our way to our car where we were finally captured. Rogue and Kitty were there waiting for us.

"How was your first day at school?" The little kitty asks me excitedly.

"It was fun. The pizza is delicious and people are rather friendly."

"We heard that you beat up Duncan, however when we saw him he looked fine." Rogue says with a raised eyebrow.

"Ah no it was just a friendly chat. You see he was upset jean dumped him and tried to take his anger out on me I simply told him to go away." I tell them with a smile. "I'm actually quite a peaceful person you know."

Peaceful as in killing off my problems early so I can sleep peacefully without having to worry. That kind of peaceful.

"Oh well there's all sorts of stories about how you broke his arm and Sparta kicked him down the hallway." Rogue says.

"Really you believe in teenage rumors that easily pfft." I say with a laugh. "The only bad part of my day was when the brotherhood? Is that what they are called? Came and stole my pizza. I had to ask them to leave which they actually did."

There was a gasp. "They actually stole your food? How mean!" Kitty says stamping her foot. "We have had a lot of problems with those guys."

"Ah they do look like a bunch of bad eggs." I reply opening the car for them.

"Do you want to stop and get some food before heading back to the mansion?" Kitty asks from the back. There was some fierce rivalry thing going on between jean and rogue for the front seat. In the end rogue won until Jean sat in the middle next to me.

Then they just glared at each other.

"Behave or I'll let kitty sit in the front." I say starting up the car as they both hmph at each other.

"Where you guys wanna go to eat?" I ask the girls which was a mistake. "Burgers/Pizza/Tacos."

Ah shit.

"Tell you what I'll make it a surprise." I say before looking up a place on my phone.

After a bit of driving we show up to a fancy restaurant usually for the rich and powerful. They gape at it.

I wave my hand and they are all in gorgeous dresses and dolled up perfectly.

I toss my keys to the valet and head inside with the girls quickly following me.

With a little bit of mind magic we got the best private seat in the house and I let them order anything they want.

"Are you sure? These are all so expensive." Kitty says eyeing the menu.

"I forgot to mention I'm actually a billionaire my bad." I reply and her attitude instantly changes.

"I'll have the steak, the lobster, and the shrimp dishes, a large coke and a side of potato wedges with cheese sauce." She tells the waiter.
