The dinner went well. Vash and his family had booked a table on the third floor of the restaurant.

The restaurant was near Sublime district. Named The Dempsey's Parallax not only was it the First restaurant of the Dempsey family, it was also a crown jewel in the Dempsey restaurant chain across the western continent.

In the main square of Narhik city, the national capital of Moheran. the location and reputation of the restaurant brought VIP guests from all the Moheran, the largest country in the western continent.

Mr. and Mrs. Dempsey were head chefs in this fine establishment.

Vash and his family were sitting on a table for four. The third floor had Golden chandeliers with golden stencils on the red walls, this contributed to the golden interior design theme as intended by the owners.

They made the table and chairs from crimson ivory.

Pink ivory was an expensive wood used to manufacture furniture before new beginnings, but this era saw this tree mutating further into different variants.

Crimson ivory was a variant of pink ivory. The crimson colour of the wood contributed to its name.

The reddish brown colour of the wood made it a must have in the VIP community.

Chewing on the delicious lobster frittata Vash spoke "Father, mother was right to pick the golden stencils on the wall and the ambience remarkable."

Vash's parents had one of the most successful marriages. Still in love after 23 years of marriage told tales of their love and their mutual understanding.

Vash's father Daniel Dempsey was a large middle-aged man towering at 6.8 feet with a bulky physique. Brown hair with a full brown beard gave him a bear-like appearance, but Vash knew his father had a heart of cotton candy for his family.

"I have the required credits in all my courses except in microbiology. So I am planning to finish my school this month."

"I believe you should join a University training program, the pressure there plus better facilities would help you catch up with your competition,". Mrs. Dempsey suggested.

Next day

Vash received a message from school asking for his physical presence at school.

Vash attends most of his classes through VR because of paralysis, but school mandates him to come to special occasions physically.

Moving his wheelchair to the designated spot, Vash waited for the cab.

The ride to school was monotonous.

The Orion academy was a prestigious middle school. In the education district, which was 45 minutes away from the sublime district.

Vash reached the school gate only to find his friend Noah waiting for him.

"Vash, I knew you would come today"

"You know there is a special guest arriving today," Noah whispered, coming close to Vash's ears.

Walking into the classroom, Vash heard his classmates talking in excitement.

"Vash you also came to class today, well" Teacher Mark spoke, noticing Vash sitting on his desk.

"Everyone, today an influential figure within our star region will visit our academy"

"So all of you should carefully listen to the lecture."
