The lecture by Mr Reaver was successful in sparking an interest towards Geneticists and the fields related to it.

In the following days discussions about Gene medicines  could be heard everywhere in the Orion academy.

During these days Vash was busy submitting  final assignments. 

He even completed assignments from the microbiology class.

Hence Earning more than enough credits required to pass the subject.

All this hardwork lead to a CGPA of 4.7 out of 5.

But Vash was still perplexed about  which field to choose for his future.

 Vash understood  the benefits of pursuing career as in scientist. But the last obstacle was deciding which  field to one choose  from , be a geneticist or a physicist? 

So, which went to his favourite teacher in the Orion  academy teacher Mark.

Standing before the Physics Lab Vash knocked on the door.

"Come in."

While entering Vash saw teacher Mark sitting on a chair studying a Quantum enforcer.

The room was 44 * 44 in size. With 1 table and 2 up front and various physics epuipment occupied the remainder of it.

Hearing Vash come in teacher Mark shifted towards Vash.

"What brought you here Vash ?  Take a seat."

Vash first made himself comfortable on the chair before speaking.

"Sir I just can't decide which field to choose from physics or Gene medicines.

"I see Mr Reaves was successful in his lecture."Teacher Mark said while  smiling at Vash.

"Both of them are important fields but I prefer physics instead of Gene medicines. As  physics is  an adventure that  we must undertake to understand our  universe."

"But sir, if I become a Geneticist I  could reach higher stages in cultivation."

"Higher evolution level would make me   better equipped to undertake the journey towards pursuit of truth.

" That is a wonderful point, this is  one reason Geneticists are so popular. My advise would be that, as.  you  have 6 more years till college . Just  focus on both of them gaining better understanding would allow you to make a more informed decision.

Vash was just as confused, as he was a day before.

"But teacher mark is right. I have time with me " Vash thought while leaving physics lab.

Time went on and swiftly 27 days past.

Vash  was sitting in the cab  which was on its way to sister Aurelia when he received a notification.

[system reboot completed.]

"System why did you use value point system in the status window except for simply displacing  attributes  in units . "

"Is it not much simpler to display  Strength as 1500 kgs instead of the 10in VPS ( value point system)."Vash questioned 

"System  have adopted the value point  System from hyper spectrum gene analyser."

"Why would HSGA machines use value point system instead of simply showing the categories in units."

"The value point system was created by professor Adrian hedron.Professor Adrian was the inventor of HSGA and he  used value point system in them. "

"Hedron clan continues VPS as  it the legacy of their  founding Father."

"Hydron clan holds a Monopoly over HSGA.

"VPS was later adopted by the entire human alliance because of the the widespread use of HSGA."

"Why create VPS when the we could  use  units that do a much better job."

"Professor Adrian created VPS to be used in HSGA . HSGA is primarily used to quantify patients gene sequence and assign class and tier  to it."

"For a HSGA operator displaying 11.7 instead of 1375 kilogram makes much more sense.  11.7 indicates level 11, tier A ,star rating 7 star.

If HSGA displays 1375 kg  for strength then the operator first have to convert 1375 kg into the evolution level of the patient and the assigned tier  of the gene sequence."

"Even then 1375 kg could mean different levels and tiers for different people."

" Let's say if HSGA even  shows the level of the patient separately, making it easier for the operator."

" But you must note that the operator must perform  this calculation for hundreds of attribute in our genes sequence separately."

"Understandable, but  why did you not follow  follow the status window design  one used  in games . Where they show  key attributes like  strength, speed, vitality, IQin units?"

"I have all star gene sequence so all of my attributes would  have the same value point."

"For an ultimate system you sure have  a bad user interface."

Vash finished interacting with the system as the cab came to a halt.

Vash walked towards the Smith labs in excitement.

During past 27 days Vash regained the use of his legs.

It was a monumental news for the Dempsey family.

Mr and Mrs Dempsey threw a gigantic party at Dempsey's parallax.

Even his sister took time off from her  busy schedule to congratulate him.

Vash never felt so happy as he felt when he was able to move his toes  again.

Recovery was quick within  days he was able to stand up.

Within a week he could walk again.

Vash even went on long runs with his friend Noah.

 Vash felt his strength increasing with each passing day.

This was the reason Vash was starting  believed in  the system. May be he  really would attend the  all-star gene sequence.

 Vash took stairs instead of the elevator just because he could use his legs again.

He knew he  would never grow  bored of walking.

He loved the castle of freedom again ,he could walk where ever he wanted.

 21 days post his recovery were the best days of his life.

Vash shouted walking towards Aurelia's office on the fifth floor " Sister Aurelia  I am back."

As Aurelia  walked out of her office, seeing  Vash walking towards her  she was astonished and happy.

"He really recovered, how much has his  gene sequence changed." Aurelia  thought in anticipation.

Vash was a rare case ,a mutation causing such drastic changes was unheard of.

 " Vash I think both of us are too eager to wait any longer."
