66 CHAPTER - 66 - NON-EXTINGUISH-ABLE FLAMES OF ERESHKIGAL : PART ③

Despite being a little bit uneasy, Ereshkigal decided to prove her worth by slaying Alcesto and his friends, starting from Zhao. She gathered the information about their whereabouts, lifestyle and other important and normally visible info from her lord, Navertozwein. He wrote all the details about Alcesto and their friends in the form of a 'magical spatial text'.

Telepathy is only limited to high level hellish gods and that too is only possible when the two persons who have to communicate telepathically are within the radius of two kilometers. The only mode of long distance communication between two hellish gods is the 'magical spatial texts'. Since Ereshkigal was dimensions apart from her lord, Navertozwein used this method. It allows the one using it to create or write texts into the air, or more specifically the space surrounding one. He or she has to exert their Gi while writing the texts. While writing these texts, they have to also think of the person to whom they want this text delivered. After writing the complete text, one would stop channeling their Gi and a small spatial portal would open up and suck all the spatial text into it. As soon as the text is sucked, it would be delivered to the person on the other end, in other words, the receiver.

Using this process, on January 7th, Ereshkigal obtained the following info which was written by Navertozwein using his ability of demonic eyes:

"June 15th, 2024- My enemies left their humanly dimension and entered the dimension of hellish gods."

"January 1st, 2025- My enemies returned to their dimension."

"January 3rd, 2025- My enemies left their homeland and entered the city of Tokyo in the country of Japan. During this, I dispatched you and Lemures to kill Set and Anubis, however, they got away. So, I changed your mission and ordered you both to kill Alcesto and his other comrades. During this time, they were busy in buying their new equipments."

"January 4th to 6th- They were busy during their process of marriage. Due to some unknown circumstances, Yoon sisters decided to stay in Japan. With this, two of my enemies reduced without any effort."

"Your and Lemures's current mission: Go to a place named Tokyo into the country of Japan. You both will eventually find them by searching for their divine Gi. Investigate their daily routine and kill them accordingly. According to my info, they are scheduled to depart from 'Earth' to the gateway of small hell on 10th of January. Before that, kill them."

After reading the text, Ereshkigal sighed and said to herself,

"Uh... I quite get the grasp of it but, I still feel guilty about not being able to tell Lemures's death to lord Navertozwein. But, wouldn't he still know about everything from his demonic eyes?! No... Wait, I have to calm down. He can only see the major pieces of his upcoming future or past using his demonic eye. I am just a piece of dust in his vision... But, I don't care about any of this! Once I kill off Alcesto and his comrades, I would be able to obtain some kind of place in lord Navertozwein's future! Okay, that's it, now it is time for me to sleep in this puny humans' little 'hotel' or something. I'm really glad that I decided to stole his belongings after killing that shopkeeper, otherwise I would have had to kill everyone in this hotel... that would have been too much of a pain. Hwaaaa!"

After yawning, Ereshkigal fell asleep as soon as she lied on the bed of the hotel she was staying in. However, that night, Ereshkigal was not able to stop herself from thinking about Lemures's sudden death. Even though she had fallen into a deep state of sleep, her unconscious mind kept on playing a vision of the unknown enemy she encountered the day she set her foots on Earth.

Ereshkigal was the one who was in charge of the operation of killing Set and Anubis. As they stepped out of the dimensional portal opened from the land of Navertozwein, they had already found themselves in a much better place. The sight of Earth was clearly better than Ereshkigal and Lemures's respective hellish lands. Despite being teleported to land of deserts, Egypt, the view of the beautiful azure sky itself was very astonishing for the both of them.

Ereshkigal and Lemures have already read many books that depicted the way of living on Earth, but, that was from a long time ago. Ereshkigal decided to inspect these unknown lands and ordered Lemures to search for the uniquely dark energy of Set and Anubis.

Lemures walked in the opposite direction of Ereshkigal turning his back towards her. She left Lemures and flew in the sky. On 5th January, she returned after venturing the commercial and developed areas of Egypt. She also got a quite understanding about the fashion sense of the people of Earth. After killing a few desert tribes, she sold their costly belongings like animal tusk and obtained a nice amount of money. With this money, she found herself a designer pair of clothes and she also booked two rooms in a nearby guest hotel. She did all of this because she already knew that after killing Set and Anubis, her mission would definite be changed to kill Alcesto and his comrades.

While she was in the middle of her destination, she engaged a telepathic conversation with Lemures. She wanted to be prepared for a surprise attack against Set and Anubis. During this conversation, Lemures told her,

"Looks like they have slipped from our hands... Do not worry, we might get them next time."

While Ereshkigal was a few metres away from Lemures, in the middle of the sky, she also witnessed Lemures standing on the ground with his head raised above, waiting for her to come. As she landed on ground, her head was bended downwards as she was looking at the ground. Slowly, she raised her head and the scene in front of her was completely unbelievable.
