53 CHAPTER - 53 - ULTIMATE CHAOS OF KHAOS : PART ①

THE PRESENT DAY

The second battle of the Khaos tournament, which was held between Kim-Jae-Hyuk and Yoon-Kyung-Soon on one side and Teocipactli on the other, had come to an end. Jae-Hyuk and Kyung-Soon were declared victorious in their battle. As soon as the battle overed, Jae-Hyuk and Kyung-Soon were teleported to the relaxation room. It was the same room where Schwartz and Zhao were resting.

Upon their arrival, their injuries got healed automatically. Kyung-Soon's ruptured and torn out muscles and cracked bones were back to normal as if she never encountered any damage on her hands. Jae-Hyuk felt his divine Gi getting increased in his body while his exhaustion kept on decreasing.

The room was of white colour. It was completely white, from the ceiling to the ground and even the walls. It felt as if they were trapped in an infinite realm. There were countless beds placed in the middle of the room. However, the beds were also white. They blended in completely with the rest of the room. Although, this whiteness generated a feeling of calmness within one's heart, there was one thing which felt weird to everyone in the room, there were no doors.

Schwartz was resting in one of those beds. Zhao was sitting beside his head on the bed next to him. On the next bed, Jae-Hyuk sat beside Kyung-Soon. In front of them was a huge desk. The desk was made of pure Megalithium. The ancient rune which told about the forthcoming battles was kept on that desk. At the right side of the desk, Vanzel stood with his hands crossed. His leg was raised up and his knee was bent. Using his leg, he took the support of the wall to remain standing for a longer period of time. Deces, who stood calmly on the right side of the desk, suddenly stepped forward. She pointed her finger at the ancient rune and started speaking,

"Look! The words are changing!"

The text which was written on that stone, started jumbling. Soon, it rearranged and created a different meaning to the words. After hearing Deces, Kyung-Soon said,

"This might be an announcement of the next battle!"

Jae-Hyuk, while looking at the stone, thought to himself,

"Woah... What are those words? I can't understand a single bit of 'em."

Amidst this, suddenly, Schwartz woke from his sleep. Zhao, whose eyes were looking at the stone, turned swiftly. Now, she was looking at Schwartz. The first thing which he saw after waking up was Zhao's face. He got up quickly and held Zhao' s shoulders with his hands. After that, he shouted,

"Zhao! Are you all right?!"

Schwartz was extremely happy to see Zhao in great health. He could not control his happiness and hugged her tightly. While he hugged her, her face turned completely red. She was about to push him away, however, she heard him whimpering. She did not pushed him away, instead, she patted his back and calmed him down.

Whilst this, Deces came near Vanzel and asked him,

"Vanzel! Should I translate this rune to everyone using the telepathy?!"

Vanzel didn't replied. It looked like Vanzel was spaced out. However, Deces knew that Vanzel was not the kind who would space out in the middle of such a crucial situation.

"Vanzel!"

Deces called her again and again but she did not said anything. Suddenly, at Deces's fifth or sixth call, he replied,

"Sorry. I wasn't paying attention as I was busy talking with Alcesto and Kyung-Mi, using telepathy. I just had a small talk with them and they said that they have already teleported to the battle arena. It's the same arena where Jae-Hyuk, Kyung-Soon, Schwartz and Zhao battled. Now... I think you should start translating this rune to them."

Deces replied,

"Hm!"

After reading for a while, she started explaining about the rune telepathically to everyone.

"The second battle has been concluded. Teocipactli has lost the match and the winning team consists of Kim-Jae-Hyuk and Yoon-Kyung-Soon. Kim-Jae-Hyuk has acquired the title of the 'the Earth Shaker', whereas Yoon-Kyung-Soon has acquired the title of 'the Sacrificer'. The second battle is about to begin. The second battle consists of Jung-Wang-Alcesto-Milo-Azaloth and Yoon-Kyung-Mi, from Vanzel Steilinz's side. These two participants will be battling our supreme mother, the greatest dark entity, THE KHAOS. The participants are already teleported to the battle arena. The battle arena is the same as where the previous match was conducted. The Supreme mother should not use any of her abilities. The rules hereby state that she can only fight using her physical strength. If she uses any of her abilities, we are afraid that along with her opponents, the Khaos realm might also get destroyed. This rule also states that if she uses her ability, her lifespan will be reduced. Blessings of fate will await the victor."

After translating the rune, Deces said,

"... That's what this rune says."

Vanzel, after listening the translation, said to Alcesto,

"Alcesto and Kyung-Mi. You both heard what she said. Now... Listen carefully to me. When we entered the land of Kharon, Deces already knew about that land and was really terrified from entering it. That time, I decided to not question her about the fact that she already knew about Kharon. But, after completing the trial, I asked her about this knowledge of hers. She told me that all the gods know about the Khaos gods. Kharon is one of the leader of millions of grim reapers. He has the ability to manipulate life, which doesn't revolts. She was scared that she might not be able to revolt against Kharon because of her fear about him. She also told me in further detail about the word 'KHAOS'. In this dimension, before the creation of Earth, the creator created the Khaos. She created other entities who were knows as the Khaos gods. The word 'chaos' is originated from the word 'Khaos'. She is one of the few major deities of destruction. She can wipe away this entire dimension if she uses her true power. However, she won't be using it against you as the rules state. But, I would like to warn you. Even though she will be using only her physical power, do not underestimate her. She is... On a whole another level than the other Khaos gods we have encountered so far. Now... That's all what I wanted to say. I wish you both good luck."

After Vanzel explained Alcesto and Kyung-Mi about the Khaos, others also wished them good luck.

"Alcesto and Kyung-Mi, y'all better win!"

Said Jae-Hyuk.

"Don't overestimate yourself and don't underestimate your opponent."

Said Schwartz.

"Fight properly, both of you!"

Said Zhao.

"Best of luck, Alcesto. Good luck to you too, Kyung-Mi."

Said Kyung-Soon.

Far away from his friends, on a creepy battle arena which was built on the ribs of a giant skeleton, stood Alcesto with his lover, Kyung-Mi. They were receiving the hope from their friends, hope to defeat the Khaos. Alcesto clenched his fist in excitement. Adrenaline was overflowing in his body. He was a little afraid about his opponent, the supreme mother Khaos. He was sweating a little bit from his forehead. His heart was also beating fast. However, Kyung-Mi was completely calm. As if she had gone through such circumstances. And, that was actually true. She was an experienced slayer when compared to Alcesto. She had been slaying demons from a long time and she had only faced stronger and tougher demons everytime she fought. She held Alcesto's fist. She moved closely to him and spoke softly,

"Alcesto... Look into my eyes."

When he found Kyung-Mi reaching out to him in such a way, he loosened his fist and heard her words. Before he knew it, he was already looking into her eyes. Her beautiful and shining blue eyes felt like an ocean to him. And, he was already drowning in that ocean. She spoke again with that soft and kind tone of hers,

"Please stay calm. Believe in yourself. Believe in your teammates. Believe in me. We, together can defeat anyone, whoever it is, won't stand a chance against us."

After seeing that Alcesto's heart is at a calmer state than before, she backed off and channeled her divine Gi into her fist. Her fist started glowing and she said to Alcesto,

"Alcesto. Are you ready now?"

He replied in a high tone which was filled with positive energy,

"Yes! Let's defeat that Khaos, Kyung-Mi!"

After their little conversation, Alcesto's body started shining of Azure colour as he channeled his divine Gi through his entire body. He activated his Azure emperor prowess.

*RUMBLE!!!*

Suddenly, the ground on which Alcesto and Kyung-Mi were standing, started shaking heavily. The border of arena, where the ribs were placed, got drenched in blood. Out of nowhere, the ribs also got on fire. From the sky, a huge 'heart' fell near the border of the arena. The heart started melting with the flames of the ribs.

Alcesto and Kyung-Mi, watched this entire scenario with their eyes as they thought,

"What would happen next? This is... Too grotesque to be true!"
