Master Li's Disciple

Sujit spent the next few months training with Master Li, learning the basics of swordplay and martial arts. Under the watchful eye of his mentor, Sujit quickly developed a proficiency with the sword that impressed even the most skilled of Master Li's disciples.But it wasn't just the physical training that Sujit found valuable. He reached into his sleeve and pulled out a small, intricately carved box. He opened it, revealing a set of jade pendants, each one inscribed with a different character.

"These are the pendants of my disciples," Master Li explained. "Take one, and it will serve as a symbol of your membership in our order. Wear it with pride, and let it remind you of the lessons you have learned here."Sujit chose a pendant inscribed with the character for "loyalty," and fastened it around his neck.

"Thank you, Master Li," he said, his eyes shining with emotion.

Master Li nodded, his eyes twinkling with pride. "Go now, my disciple. The world awaits you."
