25 Mocking Battle (Rewrite)

[: 3rd POV :]

Vasquez, bewildered and infuriated, stared at the dissipated winds in disbelief.

"How... How did you stop my attack?"

He demanded, a mixture of shock and anger in his voice.

Daniel, maintaining a calm demeanour, replied,

"How did I stop it?"

"It seems like your attack contains the Law of Wind, but your understanding of the Wind Realm is quite pathetic"

Daniel mocked as he shrugged his shoulders.

Vasquez, fueled by pride and anger, retorted,

"HAHA, it seems like there's still someone in this world that dares to insult me!"

Vasquez was too full of himself that he had as such.

Perhaps, his recent achievements and the alliance with the Imperial Families had given him the privilege to boast such words.

On the other hand, Daniel's eyes gleamed with a hint of amusement.

"You assume too much, Vasquez"

"Not everyone gives a damn about who you are or even the Imperial Families that are behind you" Daniel declared.

"To me, both of them are nothing in my eyes" Daniel insulted.

Immediately, his words had greatly shocked Vasquez.

"Y-You! You dare to insult the Imperial Families!"

There's a spoken rule that in this continent, insulting the Imperial Families or even the Empress would result in death.

Hence, Daniel's words were daring and they even attracted the guardian of the Saint Realm who was hiding.

"You're courting death!"

Vasquez declared and he immediately flew towards Daniel and clashed against him.

The moment Vasquez clashed towards Daniel, the air trembled with the sheer force emanating from Vasquez.

With an accurate precision, Vasquez targeted his hand towards Daniel, aiming to shatter his chest.

However, to his surprise, the instant he attempted to penetrate Daniel's chest, he realized that Daniel had transformed into swirling winds.

"What...?"

Stunned by the sudden development, Vasquez frantically looked around for Daniel.

However, he couldn't find a trace of him.

Seconds later, he heard a voice echoing, "You're not the only one who has comprehended the Law of Wind."

Suddenly, Vasquez heard a voice seemingly behind him and swiftly turned around, only to discover Daniel wasn't there.

"I'm right here," another voice resonated and this time from above him.

At this point, infuriation and anger surged within Vasquez.

Daniel was clearly disrespecting him.

After all, in the midst of Vasquez's fury, he realized Daniel was standing on his forehead, a gesture that further intensified his anger.

"You dare mock me?"

Vasquez clenched his teeth, his aura flaring with increased hostility.

"You'll pay for your insolence!"

As Vasquez screamed, a burst of a potent wind aura emanated from him.

He attempted to slice through the surrounding area with the sharpness of the wind.

"Quiet down, will you...?" Daniel, irritated by the noise, declared.

Suddenly, as though commanding reality itself, the aura that Vasquez was using disappeared.

In that moment, Daniel harnessed his bloodline ability, God's Authority, exerting control over the fabric of reality itself.

Seeing that his aura had disappeared, Vasquez, shocked and bewildered, questioned Daniel.

"What have you done? How did you nullify my aura?"

Daniel, maintaining his calm demeanour, responded mysteriously.

"Well, who knows?"

Vasquez, growing more frustrated, demanded, "Enough! What is your cultivation realm? Are you on par with me?"

Daniel, refusing to disclose his realm, simply shook his head.

"I don't see the need to answer that."

Frustrated by Daniel's silence, Vasquez scoffed.

"Playing mysterious won't save you, I'll crush you regardless of your cultivation level."

Vasquez, confident in his own abilities, continued, "Hmpf! No matter what, you can't stop me!"

Daniel, unfazed by Vasquez's bravado, calmly retorted.

"Confidence can be a blindfold, Vasquez. Let's see if your words can save you from your death"

Vasquez may not know Daniel's exact realm, but he doesn't fear him.

With the guardian hiding, he wasn't scared of whether or not Daniel was stronger than him.

"Let's see whether you can say those words again or not!"

Instantly, Vasquez reached into his Spatial Ring, extracting a sword that exuded an overwhelming aura.

It wasn't just any sword, it emitted a flamy hot heat, making it distinguishable from ordinary blades.

"HAHAHA,"

Vasquez relished in the reactions of those present, particularly enjoying the astonishment on Zuke's face as if witnessing the end of the world.

"How do you like this? It's a Supreme Treasure given by the Empress herself!"

"A Grade 7 Sword crafted from the body of a Magma Dragon!"

Vasquez declared proudly, the fiery glow of the sword reflecting the immense power it possessed.

"There's no way..."

Zuke's knees weakened, and he dropped to the ground as he discovered that Vasquez had revealed a Grade 7 Supreme Treasure.

The weight of the treasure seemed to crush his spirits.

"Relax, Zuke, there's nothing for you to worry about,"

Daniel's reassuring words echoed through the tense air.

"Young master..."

Zuke muttered, finding an unexplainable sense of reliance on Daniel's words.

In this dire moment, he felt compelled to trust everything to Daniel.

"HAHAHA, let's see whether you can relax!"

Vasquez mocked, his laughter resonating ominously.

Simultaneously, he clenched the fiery sword and struck towards the spot where Daniel stood.

As Vasquez struck with the sword, a burst of intense aura exploded into existence.

Before them, a dragon of magma materialized.

Its fiery form roars loudly and exerts immense pressure on the entire city.

The very air seemed to burn with the heat emanating from the draconic manifestation as it clawed ferociously towards Daniel.

"This is your end, Mortal!"

Vasquez declared with confidence.

He believed that victory was a mere few seconds away and he was relishing in the anticipation of witnessing Daniel's death.

On the other hand, Daniel's gaze remained fixed on the incoming Magma Dragon.

The scorching heat radiating from its form began to burn the surrounding area.

However, he couldn't help but furrow his eyebrows in disappointment.

"This is a dragon...?" he questioned in doubt.

A few seconds later, he declared loudly, "Let me show you what a real dragon is!"

The moment Daniel declared as he utilised Dragon's Force.

Clenching his fist, three Golden Dragons swirled around his arms and danced around his hands.

With a burst of brilliance, they expanded into colossal sizes, each one now towering ten times larger than the Magma Dragon.
