His lips hovered dangerously close to hers, but he didn't touch them. His lips lingered there for a moment and then brushed past her cheeks.

"I am thinking of making a milkshake. Would you like some?"

Pursing a short breath, Caroline looked into his eyes. She wanted to scream - 'Like seriously? A milkshake after riling her up?'

Fisting her fingers, she somehow managed to speak. "That would be delightful!"

"Why do you look so tense?" He asked as he ran his fingers starting from her elbow down to her fists.

"No… I am not!" And saying that, she pushed him away and walked towards the kitchen. 

Rummaging through the groceries, she found chocolate syrup, strawberries, and a can of whipped cream.

Puzzled, she turned towards him. "What exactly are you planning to cook with these?"

"Morpheous?"

And she watched his forehead crinkle. "What is with all this?"

"I just… "

"You just what, Morpheous?"
