Daylight Robbery?

Gu Erin only returned the smile of Xia Hao, for the old alchemist to feel that something was very wrong. Only when Gu Erin opened his mouth did Xia Hao know that this child was a demon.

"Thank you uncle Xia Hao, I should take my leave now, here is my two gold, so that no bad blood runs between us." Gu Erin tried to offer his two gold coins, but how could Xia Hao accept them.

Wasn't this a form of cutting ties with him? Is this little demon trying to get away after showing his hand?

Xia Hao had to force himself to keep his smile. "No, no need." Xia Hao waved his hand lightly. "In fact, if you acknowledge me as your master I can even arrange for a higher-grade formation to measure your talent properly."

Gu Erin felt his knuckles itch, this shameless bastard. However, Gu Erin kept the smile that didn't reach his eyes. "Its okay Uncle Xia Hao, I won't bother you with such matters. I'm thinking about taking a trip to the capital soon. So, I can just test my talent there."

Xia Hao forced himself from coughing up the mouthful of blood, instead swallowing his immediate urge to spit it out. How could he allow such a genius to go? If those pompous alchemists in the capital see his talent they would flip the country to try and gain him as a disciple.

"Don't bother with such a trip, in fact this town is quite resourceful, if you became my disciple I could give you my backing and nobody would get in your way." Xia Hao offered.

However, Gu Erin just smiled, "its okay martial Uncle, I don't think I'm looking for a master right now. I'm just entering this new world, so I think I'll explore my options."

This time Xia Hao could not help spitting up a small amount of blood, but he managed to wipe it away fast enough for Gu Erin to simply blink and find that it wasn't there. If Gu Erin didn't know any better he would think of it as an illusion.

Gu Erin's smile widened. "But, I am looking for a benefactor to help fund me and my sect. Would martial uncle be interested in an honorary elder position?"

Xia Hao wanted to cry but had no tears, didn't he find a money tree? Why did he instead find an iron plate that he kept kicking foolishly. If word got out about this demon's talent wouldn't he have everything he wanted? So, what was the loss of a little face to tie himself to a golden thigh.

With a slight smile that was not of joy Xia Hao answered Gu Erin. "Of course, of course, any venture junior choses will definitely be successful. How much does junior need?"

Gu Erin didn't want wealth, no he wanted something far more valuable, Gu Erin went on to list multiple powders, a few potions that worked with a few of his follower's talents. Then asked for a few spirit stones.

Xia Hao was about to vomit blood at this point, but justified it with his future gains. Truly this amount of wealth was nothing. Alchemists above the first star could get plenty of wealth as long as they worked hard for a year or two. Truly taking a loss was within his best interests…. But, Gu Erin didn't make it easy.

Gu Erin finally left with a bright smile on his face, and with five full spatial rings, four of which he had taken from his first stepping stones. Xia hao's shop however, looked like a locus swarm had swept across it, leaving only a smiling Xia Hao. Who immediately after Gu Erin left started to profusely vomit blood, but still kept his smile when Gu Erin promised him another recipe.

Gu Erin mainly took finished products, so Xia Hao still had most of his ingredients, without any hesitation Xia Hao went into a working frenzy. Not only to gain back his wealth, but to make Body Foraging Pills. He had to be at peak condition if he wanted his name to spread with the Body Foraging Pill, that is said to help one break through multiple small stages under the Foundation Realm.

When Gu Erin took his first step out of the shop Lee Tao the bald monk came over with a pep in his step, smiling widely in response of seeing Gu Erin's happy mood.

"Brother was it successful? Did you get the gold?" The Bald monk asked while rubbing his hands together like a greedy banker.

Gu Erin only threw him one of the rings, Lee Tao focused his expression, but to Gu Erin he just looked constipated. That was until Lee Tao's eyes went so wide that Gu Erin thought they might pop out. Lee Tao came in closer to Gu Erin who still hadn't said anything.

"Senior brother, did you rob him? Its not good to rob in broad daylight. We should leave quickly." As if emphasizing his point lee Tao started to pull at Gu Erin's dirtied robes.

However, Gu Erin simply laughed at Lee Tao as he walked towards the outskirts of the town. "Brother Lee, no need to worry, these were gifts." Gu Erin said happily before growing serious. "Tonight, we're going to cultivate, but we need to make a few stops first."

Lee Tao Followed Gu Erin around as they made their way through the city, taking more than a few wrong turns. However, this gave Gu Erin a good chance to observe the baldy, Gu Erin knew that acting was one of the best skills to have in this new world. Although he was terrible in his past life, that was because he started late.

He tried to be honest and succeed with his own efforts alone, he thought little of those who stole. Now however, Gu Erin watched with rapped attention as Lee Tao convinced a local uncle to buy one of the less potent powders.

After convincing him it would help break through to the next small realm in his cultivation, Lee Tao managed to obtain three times its worth. Managing to swindle ten silvers from the man. Who excitedly ran away while guarding the powder like his child. Little did he know that powder with the improper attributed spirit root would cause intense diarrhea.

Gu Erin and Lee Tao stopped by several places, including an apothecary, craftsman, and a common blacksmith. All low-end businesses, with low quality products. They were however, sufficient for Blood Transforming Stage warriors. With a more than a few common items for hunting and trapping.

Gu Erin's mind however, was on other things, once he broke through to become a cultivator he needed to gain strength fast enough to take control of the group, and the town. There were very few opportunities this close to the central hub of the country that weren't already controlled. The only place was the mountain that held the Earth grade spirit vein.

At the moment Gu Erin could not survive such a place, because a Rank 4 beast was guarding that mountain. Which was equivalent to a Qi Refining Stage warrior. Such strength could kill thousands of Gu Erin until it grew tired. After that it would sleep through Gu Erin's attacks like insects buzzing around its head, till it was ready to start the slaughter again.

For now, Gu Erin only had one option, and he wasn't fully against it either, and that was to dual cultivate with someone. With whom wasn't a question. As there was only one option that didn't result in his death in multiple different ways. Yes, he would have to tie himself to the yandere. Gu Erin knew once he did there was no going back, and he only hoped that she didn't kill him or anyone else that he dual cultivated with.

Gu Erin was a little concerned about this, but knew that if he asked that girl to kill everyone she wouldn't hesitate to do so. It was kind of… no, incredibly frightening. As soon as they reached outside the city, Gu Erin instructed Lee Tao to continue to gain more wealth, which he was more than happy to do.

Meanwhile Gu Erin sat down to cultivate, although the outside of the walls was relatively calm, it did not mean they were safe. This was a place that was outside the protection of the law, and thus thievery, and murder ran rampant. To help his group not get targeted Gu Erin needed to step into the Blood Transforming Stage as fast as possible. From there he would start refining every aspect of himself with qi.

Gu Erin found an isolated place upwind from the city, allowing him to breathe without the concern of getting distracted by the smell. Gu Erin centered himself in the lotus position, and started to feel the qi around him. It was thin, annoyingly so.

In this environment it would take days to naturally break through to the first realm of the Blood Transforming stage. With a bitter smile Gu Erin brought out a low-grade spirit stone. Gu Erin held it between his hands and started to draw out the qi with each breath.

Gu Erin felt each burst of qi wash through his recently burnt pathways, although not incredibly painful Gu Erin knew that he would have to limit the speed at which he circulated the qi through his system. With each exhale, Gu Erin let out a foul breath of air as he began to sweat. Soon after, a layer of a black oily substance formed on his skin.

Although Gu Erin hadn't yet broken through to the Blood Transforming Realm. Gu Erin had his mind set, most people had only refined their blood with qi, confused by the first realm's name. But, Gu Erin planned on refining everything with qi, even his brain. The only problem? Gu Erin had no knowledge on how to do so, or even if it could be done.

Working on another book, This Little Devil won't share until he gets 30 Chapters.
