Welcome from Another World

Stomp.

The reason why people stomp, at least when it comes to the martial arts, is because we can knock them off balance by using it in combination with the small shockwave that we create, either by Qi or pure physical prowess.

In our familial sect, we learn the way of the Zen Kick Method, which if you were like me and came from another world, you would be able to tell that we base from Taekwondo with some of the Tai Chi teachings, but that's it.

Stomping techniques and kicking, we barely use any punches and our sect is considered of a small size, to the point where people don't recognize us for what we are.

My name?

Guo Jiang, which for someone who doesn't understand, Guo stands for country, and Jiang, river.

A river of my country, ever flowing, my venerable grandfather, part of the sect's council, named me after hearing the philosophy of a fighter he met in his hey days, a martial artist who fought against my elder and won.

My father however, didn't want any of his 'important' kids with that name, and as such, as the third son, was 'branded' with the shame of my grandfather.

Guo Jiang the failure, that's what they called me. Not to my face of course, if only because they didn't know I could hear when they mocked behind my backs.

Just like every other martial artist in this sect, I am a cultivator. Nothing that impressive, being at the Peak of the first rank in the Mortal Cultivation Realm, which is far from being impressive.

My eldest brother, Guo Sun, was at the Middle second rank in the same realm, while my older brother was in the initial third rank of the mortal realm.

Now, there was something else about me that no one else knows. It's the fact that I know my future, and no, it's not because I can see it, it's because I've read it.

In the future, the 'magnanimous' Fang Kai appeared, saved me from the bullying of my brothers, then I would eventually become his 'brother', train myself to keep walking with my now 'great friend' Fang Kai, then I find the 'love of my life', die 'protecting' my now invincible best friend who conveniently forgot to tell he was immortal, and then Guo Jiang asks his friend Fang Kai to take care of his beloved.

Then barely five chapters later, the author revealed that the whole thing was that the author was a NTR loving dipshit, who wrote it so that by plot, have Fang Kai fuck Guo Jiang's beloved, and then she revealed that she only acted her emotions for Jiang so that she could get close to Fang Kai.

...I'm not going to get cucked this time around.

Quite frankly, my life would be great if I just settled somewhere, my first life wasn't anything to be proud of and even if plumbing hasn't reached everywhere, it's still better than my previous life.

But that's how losers think.

I want to be strong, even if it's just for being strong, I don't require an entire explanation of why being strong is good and being weak is bad, I already know that just by how I lived before, the issue is that I don't have any kind of secret cultivating technique, and quite frankly, I have death flags all around me. I cannot let Fang Kai find me, or else said death will occur.

"To be strong is to be remembered until the end of times, regardless of strength of character and morality, therefore, my ideal is to become strong enough that I will simply be free of all these mortal issues."
