"W-what?!"

Did he just say that I'm a shameless b*tch?! Hah! the audacity!

"Uhh..excuse me. Heaven I think you should just wait outside, it'll only take a couple of minutes." Jerome interrupted.

"Fine!"

I rolled my eyes and walked out.

I am not supposed to get pissed. I am here for my 'Operation: Lucas' Downfall' and not the other way around.

Jerome being true to his words, they went out after a couple of minutes.

I immediately stand up.

"Just make sure to give him his vitamins everyday."

"Thank you Doctor Jerome." Said Grace.

Now that I get to see his dog, I realized that it is twice as big as Khairo. It's gray and he looks dangerous, really scary.

"Babe, I'll just go to the restroom." Grace walked out.

"Heaven just come inside if your dog's ready." Then Jerome went inside.

Now, there's just the two of us. I'm facing him side ward and I can see in my peripheral vision that he's looking at me.

I remained calm and unbothered.

"What are you up to?" He spoke first.

I tilt my body and glanced at him, now were face to face.

"What do you mean?" I tried my best to act as innocent and as clueless as possible.

Grace is not the only actress here.

He looked at me intently, as if he's reading my mind. And me being a competitive b*tch also looked back. I will never back down.

He stepped forward.

"I don't know what you're doing but I just want you to know that I will never fall on your trap."

"Whatever!" I rolled my eyes at him, breaking our mini staring contest.

I just can't take the intensity of his stares and those eyes are so beautiful. But no! I won't let him affect me.

Then he simply walked away leaving me alone.

Ugghhh!!!! He's so annoying! I just want to shout and throw everything. I'm seeing red right now, gosh! I hate him. I will never lose in this game that I started.

"Hi Engr. Lee! We'll be having our lunch at the restaurant nearby, you should join us." Said Mira, one of my office mates.

It's been a week since my last encounter with Lucas.

"Oh sure!" I replied while turning off my PC.

I organized the stuff on my table then I grab my bag and my coat.

"Let's go!" They said in chorus.

The restaurant is just a walking distance from our company and while walking, they are talking nonstop.

"So Engr. Lee, are you single?" Kyla asked.

I laughed.

"Well right now, yes. I'm single but not available." I grinned.

"Woah! What do you mean by that?!" Asked Marco.

"There's this uptight man, he's so in denial that he can't even say his feelings for me. So yeah, I'm still waiting for him to confess."

"Maybe he's gay?" Mira commented and we all laughed.

"Why don't you court him instead?" Kent asked.

"That's actually what I'm doing right now."

"Wow! that guy is so lucky to be courted by one and only Heaven Lee." Said Amor.

We are six, 2 boys and 4 girls. We opened the door of the restaurant and I'm quite impressed with the interior design of it. I'm just wondering why they don't have a lot of customers.

We sat in a six sitter table near the glass wall. We ordered and eat while chit chatting.

"Engr. Lee, if you don't mind asking this question, are you really the scandalous woman they're talking about in this town?" Mira asked, she's the most talkative among these 5.

"Absolutely yes, why?" I asked.

It's not that I'm proud to be named like that but I'm kinda used to it. People will believe what they want to believe, it's not all about what is true anymore.

Rumors, gossips, theories, and predictions. I hate those.

You need to have a thick face, strong mindset, and tons of confidence to fit my shoe.

I'm proud to say that I am such a brave and independent woman.

"Regardless of how the society calls you, can I just say that you are so beautiful and no one can oppose that." Kyla said while looking at me with full of admiration in her eyes.

"Yes I know, thanks!" I winked at them.

I don't know why we are even talking about me. We laughed and talked about funny stuffs all throughout our lunch. I can say that this is one of the best lunch I ever had.

I enjoyed their company very much, they are so funny and easy to get along with.

"I'll just go to the restroom." I said while wiping my mouth with the table napkin.

I was about to stand up when I saw Grace sitting two tables away from us. And it's not just that, because she is with someone and I'm sure that it's not Lucas. They both have sunglasses and the guy has a cap, they are being intimate with each other.

Is she cheating on Lucas? Oh let me rephrase that, she's cheating on him.

"Engr. Lee is there something wrong?" Kent asked noticing that I went back to my seat.

"Huh? Ahh..nothing."

I fished my phone in my bag and I secretly took a photo of them.

This girl is really something.

I smirked when an idea pops into my mind.

I searched for Lucas' number on my contacts, don't ask me where and how I get his number. My smile grew wider when I found it and I immediately sent the photo to him with the address of this place.
