Believe me

"And that's how I'm where i am now". Iode said in a gloating voice. While Iode did tell them of his experience, he left some things out, like him being the inheritor of Igor's powers and made some lies to cover them up.

"What a beautiful experience, you even talked to a dragon, mine was just your regular aspirant that managed to get the quest and avoided people like Reinhardt". Hector said.

"Hmm-mm, quite the experience but your story doesn't add up, you said you met a dragon, you had the courage to fight and he was interested in your courage because you are weak and gave you a seal, yes"? Ceaser asked.

"Yeah". Iode replied.

"So why did you become a wimp when you were taken hostage by those bandits, where did your courage go to, why didn't you use the dragon seal"? Ceaser questioned again.

"Oh, that's because when the other men didn't lift a finger and were shaking in their boots, i was pretty sure none of them were low level mages and if they were scared to do something, I'll be courting death if I try anything". Iode answered.

"I thought he found out that it wasn't because of courage Tony talked to me". Iode thought.

"So why couldn't just summon Tony to help you". Ceaser pestered.

Yes, Iode could have just summoned Tony that day, but he thought of what Tony said to him, about having a special condition for breakthrough, he did nothing, he wanted to fight but the others were too scared _ or just went as undercover agents.

"You don't believe me huh, check this and think again". Iode said as he opened his chest and a purple seal in the shape of a dragone dragons head was seen.

"Wow, this is incredible, can i touch it". Hector said with puppy eyes.

"No problem". Iode replied. Hector jumped off his bed and went straight to Iode touching the seal in his chest area.

"Whoa, it feels so real, I mean it real, I'm touching a real dragon seal, this is something one might not see throughout his lifetime". Hector was mesmerized by this seal and he kept touching it.

"Ha, I must say you have quite the abs for a wizard, is this how you were able to hold your own against the dragon despite being a one star mage, it quite a feat, even a three star mage like me would freeze on mere sight of the dragon". Hector said.

"I'll take that as a compliment, but it probably because of the work i do at home, my dad sells weaponry and armoury and you need quite the muscle to carry them". Iode replied.

"Anyways, you've overstayed your welcome, stop stroking my chest"!

"Oh sorry, it just felt so good touching the seal". Hector said while nervously scratching his head.

"Do you believe me now, Ceaser"? Iode asked.

"Yeah, yeah, seeing is believing, but it will be better if you summon Tony here, that way it can be more believing". Ceaser said.

"Don't push it Ceaser, I'm to only summon him when need be". Iode replied.

"What, can't i ask anymore, not like i haven't seen a dragon before, but it just that i haven't seen a dragone before neither have i spoken to one, you know dragons are pretty rare in the Turfstick continent". Ceaser defended himself.

*Ruffle,*ruffle, a sound was heard from the windows

"What was that". Iode said.

"It probably a sunbird or the wind nothing much". Hector replied.

"Or the wall was listening to our conversation". Ceaser said.

"The wall... listening to our... conversation"? Iode and Hector turned their head to Ceaser confused.

*Sigh* "it means someone was eavesdropping on our conversation, it a figure of speech and don't ask me what figure of speech it is". Ceaser said while quickly evading other possible questions that may arise.

"Ohhhh". Iode and Hector said together.

"Not like i said anything weird anyway, I'm going to slumber, see you tomorrow". Iode said lying down on his bed.

"I wonder how many times he sleeps in a day". Hector said while he too laid back on the bed.

Ceaser too laid down on the bed but he kept thinking

"Dragons, don't get interested in just anyone, let alone be interested in a one star mage with weak magic powers that has courage to fight him".

"He would have been a nice lunch to feast on, unless there's more to this boy than the eyes meet, what an interesting fellow". Ceaser thought grinning.
