Thought I'm Gonna Kiss You

"How can you just be so calm with aches?"

I suddenly got up in shock. Damn, it's you, Tangwen. I looked at her with little narrow eyes and smirked. Oh. Why did you turn your face away? Are you blushing or beaming, Dear Tangwen? I stood up and brought up my face near her ears.

"What's there to blush a lot, Cherry?" I whispered. Her ruddy ears were enough to tell me how greatly she was blushing at that moment. I glowed. I guess she will utter a lot while speaking to me. Hehe.

"Who the hell said I'm blushing, Idol?"

How lofty! She just smashed all my plans in the water. I thought she was gonna utter while speaking to me cuz she was blushing. I know you were blushing, Tangwen. Don't Act smart, Tangwen. I can easily catch you.

"Ahha. Do you think I didn't notice you, Ms. Cherry? Just admit you were turning red, Girl."

I said to her while nudging her with my elbow. I was flashing over there to see her hiding her face from me. Stop turning red now otherwise, you'll be turned into a tomato soon. "Fine! I was blushing!" Ah. Finally, you accepted. Haha! I'm a winner here. There was no boundary for my laughter.

"Well, why were you here, Girl?"

"I just came here to first aid your wounds. And don't call me Girl, ok!!"

I laughed showing out my white teeth. How cute she is! I never thought a cheater or liar like Tangwen could be this cute while being angry. I sat on the bench and extended my hands on the bench.

She came near me and pulled out the first aid box from behind. A soft cotton a little bit dipped into an antiseptic lotion was lightly applied to my cheek. Shh, it was burning.

"Aah. Gently, Cherry." I said to her with wrinkles on my eyes and cheeks.

"Ash, I'm sorry, Idol. I'll be gentle."

Trying to be gentle with your enemy, isn't it hard, Tangwen? To kill me only you changed your name from Tangwen Alfie to Cherry Fowler, right? I don't even know whether you really fell for me or even if you're using me as I do.

She pushed an antiseptic cream on her index finger and moved closer to me. I can feel her breath on my face. So gently she applied the cream on my wounds and softly blew on them. Her breath is so cold. It gave me chills.

"Ha. I'm done with the wound. How are you feeling now?"

"I'm as good as in the past. There's nothing to feel, Girl."

That loftiness attitude was back in me. Though I don't show it much as for Tangwen, she deserves it. With a drag of my head on my palm, I looked at her in an alluring way and rubbed my lips with my thumb in a way that gave her jerks and chills.

"Hey, Idol. What are you doing?"

Without saying a word. I moved closer to her, as close as she may think I'm going to kiss her. She closed her eyes and I could feel a tremble in them. But I wasn't going to kiss her, instead, I came closer to grab the bandage.

"Thought, I'm gonna kiss you."

"Huh? Ah, No! Why would I think… That way though?"

I smiled, not approving it. Grabbing the bandage I stood up and was ready to go back to the classroom. I turned and was terrified when I noticed Yeran standing there with feverish eyes. There was a first aid box in her hands. S-She went to bring a first aid box just to dress my wounds.

"Ye-" I raised my hand to reach her and keep a hold on her but… She already left before I could reach her. She was wholly disappointed and I could find water in her eyes. That salty water got out of her eyes just because of disappointment. And the reason is clearly me allowing Tangwen to dress my wounds and wholly forgetting about my Bestie Yeran.

"Moon. Let me walk with you."

"Leave my hand, Cherry. And please try to keep your distance as far as you can, I'm not really in love with you. It's just a pretense."

I shoved her and rushed towards Yeran, just Yeran. I didn't see who came in front of me I just pushed everyone who came in the middle of my way to the girl I'm chasing right now. I was lost… No, I lost her. I felt so dismayed in the middle of the crowd. Am I late already? When I was at the edge to lose hope, a small and soft hand caught my hand, when I looked at the person I only made up to see her back hair. She pulled me out of the crowd and with a sticky note on my palm, she left without even turning back. I couldn't see her face but she brought me near the person I was chasing back then. Yeran, I reached you finally. But that girl…

"Yeran…, I'm sorry. I thought you were not going to come back so…"

"So you let Cherry have you, huh? You're getting changed, Moon."

She said them and turned away to leave. When I forwarded my hand to reach her it was when I noticed that sticky note on my palm. It said, 'Don't let your people go away again'. I was strengthened by this note and without even bringing a second thought to my mind. I immediately grabbed Yeran's hand and held her tight beneath my warm arms.

"I'll never change, Yeran. I'll always be me when it comes to you."

"I hope you stand on your words, Moon."

"Yeah sure, always."

Ha. Finally, she's fine. I caressed her hair gently. I was to kiss her cheek but there was a palm I noticed on her cheek. I recognize this palm… It… Tangwen's palm! I immediately turned around and as I already guessed, it was Tangwen. She was looking at me so furiously and I could see her anger clearly in her eyes. Hard to hide it, right?

Now, I was so terrified because if Yeran sees her then she makes it a big issue. Ah! Heck, why the hell do all the problems come at once? Ishhhh!

"Moon-"

"Ah, Yeran. Let me hug you more. I missed your hug a lot."

At this point, I acted a little childish and undercovered Yeran's face beneath my arms. And waved my hand to Tangwen to go from here. She refused my sign and said no to go away from me. F**k, why the sh*t are you increasing my problems, Tangwen?! Let me live the way I'm today! F**k me!

"Yeran, let Moon go from your hug. I'm F**king tired of seeing you both."

Tangwen said, rolling her eyes in disgust. Yeran said nothing but looked at me with her sharp eyes. In fear, I turned my eyes to another side and was scratching my neck. One side is Yeran and the other side's this troublesome Tangwen. Seeing their feverish eyes only one thing got into my mind which was the civil war between Sinhalas and Tamilians. Because of this conflict, thousands of people died, and somehow I'm feeling the sensation of the civil war here too. There thousands of people died and here I will die, for sure.

"Yeran, just ignore her. C'mon, let's go have lunch."

I dragged her from Tangwen. Not even I took a step before that only a hand was so eagerly waiting to stop me from the people I wanna chase forever. I turned back and it was still her, Tangwen Alfie. I shoved her hand.

She suddenly moved and hugged me. I felt a strong vibe go through me with a force that for a second I felt the presence of amusement. One of my hands was attached to Yeran and the other one was on Tangwens' shoulder. Hell!

"Cherry, get out of me. Cherry, Cherry!"

Just with that one hand, I was going on trying to get her out of my body. No matter what I decided to not leave Yeran's hand. If this time I will leave her then never again catch it again. And before this matter can turn into a civil war I have to say everything about me and Tangwen to Yeran.

It's only the way I have for now.
