Suffocating

Daizō and I have been in touch for a long time even when my Father was in his real consciousness. As far as I remember, Daizō is the illegitimate child of Mr. Reffier Royal, one of the biggest and well-off businessmen in business administration. Even well-known in the entertainment industry due to his investments. Daizō's mother Taniya Ni De, was one of the top-ranked employees in the Royal group of industries but unfortunately passed away in an accident which he suspected to be a planned murder from his so-called father whom he never accepted as his father and never let his surname fall after his name.

It's not like Reffier Royal ever wanted this unrealistic world to comprehend his illegitimate child. For real though, Reffier Royal never wished to accept Daizō Ni De as his son in the first place.

Daizō and his Mom never had to suffer the mockings of society as she left the city just after she discovered her pregnancy. She gave the best life to Daizō–today he has become more potent and affluent than his so-called father! That's cool, Man!

Now… somehow my condition and his condition don't have much difference, the point is that I couldn't call my Dad as I don't have him and he couldn't call his Dad even though he has him. Pointless point! Tsk! But they say, right? 'Everything happens for a reason'

And I believe it… somewhat…

"You heard about yesterday's news?"

"It's about that new popstar, right?! Aah~ I really want him~"

Huh? It's positively not me talking about something like news. It's the babbling from two middle schoolers, standing next to me and being so chill. On the other hand, it's Daizō, being so busy with his iPhone indeed. And in between them, it's me, drinking milk. It's so boring just to slurp the milk….

Should I eavesdrop on their gossip?

Nahh! That's stupidity, Moon!

I need to do something…Ah. I shifted my milk Can to another hand and forwarded my hand down a bit up. Above it, a soft sponge like two attached balloons had been covered with a short curtain being seen by my shameless eyes. I smiled, creepily.

Before doing something stupid, I glanced at Daizō. He instantly looked at me and I immediately squeezed the girl's ass!

"Ah-huh?!" The girl screamed louder than I anticipated. With her trembling body, she turned presently back with her shaking hands on her soft balloons. Now here my acting skills come out! Before she could even suspect me, I was already on my drama, covered my mouth with my palm and looked at Daizō so astonishingly as if he had done that negative thing! Haha!

"W-Wait! What?--"

Daizō was dumbfounded. He eventually lost his professional pose, being embarrassingly seen by the girl.

Slap!

Oh-oh, that's seriously what I had anticipated before.

Run… Run for your life, Moon!

"HEY, MOON! YOU DUMB*SS!"

"HEHE!"

...…..At an unexpected period of time, we both had to forcefully shift ourselves to the nearby bus station. How can prosaic homo sapiens like me have ever anticipated a sudden pour of cats and dogs? That's so unpredictable…though.

We were all wet… from top to bottom, of course. My bangs even began providing me with water supply. I haven't run out of water yet! I instantly shaked my head like a dog and suddenly being scolded by Daizō,

"Don't do naughty things, Moon…!"

"Eehhhh!"

"What "Ehhh", huh?!"

"Uh? Nothing, man."

I just stroked my bangs and sent off the water soaked by my hair. Almost… As my eyes were lifted forward, I discovered a figure. A beautiful figure. My vision was blurry at the moment but I could say that it was a female figure. As for my conclusion, the bus station was wholly empty, it should presently have only two customers. One was me and the other was Daizō but I guess that was my wrong assumption.

There might be someone else like us too.

"Hey…, Daizō."

"Uhm?"

"I guess there is a girl over there."

"Where? Where?"

"I guess behind me – a bit far away."

"Oh! The one with light hair!"

"There's only one girl!"

Then he whispere, "She is looking at us… she might have heard us."

By that time, my vision was back to normal and I was able to see clearly. I presently turned back and was taken aback by figuring out that the beautiful girl was Tangwen. I was over the moon to see her but at the same time, I was a bit blue. I was having a conclusion to leave her to Leen Hakong… The only one of her. Even Dillon Alfie likes him better than me, so according to me, it's better…

"We're sorry for taking you as a friend of ours. It was a misunderstanding. We're sorry."

Daizō said until I was just looking at her, he immediately grabbed my hand and dragged me to the vending machine. He then whispered,

"Why were you looking at her like that, huh?"

Since my childhood it has not been Sunshine my forever but also Daizō, the one who knows my childhood and feelings very well then anyone else. He eventually knows about the emotion I generated towards Sunshine. How hilarious! That the person I, thought forever, had not even gained courage to know her name and ended up having a torn picture of her where not even her face is completed.

"I like her… but she hates me, Daizō."

"You like her? But what about that childhood girl you loved the most."

"I tried but I couldn't find her. I don't know her name, not even her surname. I don't have her picture, the one I used to have got torn. I couldn't understand what to do now, Daizō!!"

"It's okay, Moon. Let go the one you couldn't find out but don't let go the one you hold on. Don't give up, you'll have the best you deserve."

"You sure?"

"I'm super sure."

Man! This guy got blessed by such a sweet mouth! I smiled and patted his shoulder, saying,

"Thank you, Man but I decided to give her to her man, Leen Hakong. I can't love the one who hate me the most -"

But suddenly my words got stuck in exactly my throat. A thought suddenly rose into my mind that almost made me vanquish those words which I wanted to utter to Daizō at that moment but were reluctant to utter them out. That thought seriously knocked my mind so hard that for a moment I thought I might get paralyzed.

Don't those words somehow give me Deja Vu…? When I was in school, Tangwen confessed her feelings but I gained hate towards her… that means somehow I'm the reason behind her broken love towards me and the hate she gained for my sudden love…

The reason… is me.

"What happened? Why did you wear such a face, Moon?"

"Actually…I guess It's better to let her go to her future husband…"

I guess she likes him now… it's kinda suffocating to accept this thought. I looked at Daizō and walked to him with weak legs. I'm trembling? I let my head lay on his shoulder and held his sleeve corner firmly.

"I'm scared that the day I hold her in my arms will be the last time I see her, D-Daizō. I'm scared…"

A trembling hand laid gently on my head and stroked it softly,

"It's okay, Moon."

"It's suffocating…" I whispered in his ears and he embraced me quietly.

How can I overcome this if she walks in someone's path, holds someone else's hand, lives in someone's heart…? I better live in hell than seeing her with someone else. Not everyone's love is incredible though… I wish I could have her but I guess now it's too late to ask for it.

"Moon. Give your love a try before you let go of her."

Try? Will she accept me? Or just walk away with that guy, Leen Hakong…? I'm not sure either.

I passed a kind smile to Daizō and walked away to Tangwen but… Now those places where I discovered her traces had disappeared nowhere. To my surprise, I only found a… sticky note? A sticky note on the wall. This is the third one, having from 3 different anonymous people is kinda unexplainable in times like this…

"Loving you was never a regret to me but allowing myself to break was so regretful to me. My bad that I loved a stone-hearted person when I know I will be hurt in the end."

S-Stone-hearted…? In the end, I was named as "Stone-hearted person". But… somehow she might be right too. Loving someone who never wanna share their heart with others is always named by stone-hearted in the end. So… before I could even give her a try, I received a refusal.

"Moon? What are you doing here? You haven't gone behind that girl yet?"

"I'm going home. Mom just called me…"

"Is it? Okay, but what about the documents?"

"Keep it with you. You've to protect them."

"As per the current geographical time period, the consumption of junk food, carbohydrate water, soft drinks, natural sugar through excess use of fruits for fruit juices, preserved food times, reserved items, packaged items, readymade items, and so on had been on the top list in today's time and the specifically - Era.

"Now what should humans need to eat to survive if everything is leading to something in the future?"

I absolutely sounded ironic.

I then continued,

"So you think I should listen to their boring updates about the diseases caused by those items? I'm not interested -" And stopped with suspicious news been aired in the moment.

"Current news from the recent incident has been updated by the nearby cops. This incident states that a middle schooler from BVL High had been found in an unrecognized figure at the Greenhouse located at the Samuelson residence. It was seriously difficult to figure out the girl's identity, it was stated that the girl might be stabbed by a sharp object. Her body was so disfigured that it took a whole 2 hours for the cops to estimate that the figure was a girl…"

"This is horrible… How dangerous the society had become. Be careful when you go out, Baby."

"That doesn't make sense. She is capable of defending herself, isn't it, Moon?"

"Obviously!"

It's not seem to be something ignorable though… something like this had happened for the first time in my neighborhood. Samuelson residence is not so far from my neighborhood. This place really falls near to… Miko's Elementary school. But the news had mentioned a middle schooler girl so… that's a relief… for me.

"Mom! I'm going to pick up Miko from Mr. Page's house!"

"Be careful, Baby!"

"Sure, Mom!"
