I'm Your Leader

[POV: - MOON]

"Taeng! Hey, Taeng is back!" Seventeen screamed and ran towards Taeng. He hugged her and smiled delightfully. 

Later Chai and Pim rushed towards us then Nart walked slowly toward me. Pim felt relief when he found Taeng. Seventeen smiled and asked a thousand questions to Taeng. Chai and Pim smiled seeing helpless Taeng. 

"Taeng, where have you been till now? Why did you disappear without saying a word to us?" Nart questioned her rigidly. 

With an aggravating look, she replied. "You never cared about my disappearance then why today, Nart?" This situation feels so comfortless and cold. I don't think both are ok with each other. 

"I'm your leader, Taeng. Why wouldn't I care?" Yea. He is the leader of our team. Now, Nart sounds so cold. He pulled wrinkles at his brows and gave a pointed look at Taeng. 

Are they gonna start a cold war here? No way. It's my birthday and I don't want anyone to fight today. 

"Nart, you're just the leader of the team, not of my life. Whatever I do it has nothing to do with you."

"Taeng, keep your tongue in control. Make sense before speaking…!"

"You don't teach me what to do and what not! I know more about myself than you! I don't need anyone else to teach me here!" 

"Taeng! You're crossing the limits!" Nart yelled at Taeng. 

All were in wonderment and looking at each other's faces. I immediately went near Nart and caught his hand. And on the side, Seventeen caught Taeng's hand. Pim and Chai tried to drag Nart inside the caravan whereas I and Seventeen were standing out, looking at Taeng. 

"Taeng, why were you disrespectful to Nart? What's wrong with you?" 

I questioned her. She closed her ears with her palms and squatted down. Her eyes were shut down and wrinkles were around her cheeks. Is she alright? 

"Taeng, Taeng. Are you okay? Taeng!" Seventeen asked worriedly. 

She showed her thumb up as ok and stood up but suddenly she collapsed in Seventeen's arms. What on the earth is going on here?! 

"Taeng!" I screamed. Suddenly Pim and Nart rushed out. Later followed by Chai with a water bottle in his hand. 

"What happened?? Why did you scream, Moon?" Pim questioned. 

I moved aside and Taeng was in Seventeen's arms lying helplessly. Pim and Chai immediately ran toward Seventeen. Nart was dazed and just staring at her body. Is he okay? He isn't even moving a bit? 

Pim carried Taeng into his arms and walked into the caravan. Chai looked at Nart and with a sigh, he left the place. Seventeen was looking gloomy. 

"Nart, you shouldn't have acted so cold with her. We're one team no matter what happens to us you should be the one to solve not add fuel to it." 

Seventeen said and rushed into the caravan. I was standing there hopelessly. I looked at Nart. He was quietly looking at the ground. Sigh… What is this all for? Everything must be good but now it's all the pieces of pain. 

All blamed Nart for Taeng's condition but no one tried to understand that Nart was just trying to figure out the problem with Taeng and that he was just not playing the role of leader but also a good friend in our life. He just wants to know the reason behind her sudden disappearance. He may sound cold while speaking, it's the way he is but none of them tries to figure it out. 

"Nart, are you okay? Don't be upset now." I tried to comfort him. 

He said nothing but looked at me. His eyes were looking so low. He sighed and looked at me. I was a little confused here but he suddenly pulled me and hugged me tightly under his arms. His head was laying on my shoulder. 

"I just can't understand why they all blame me for everything." 

"It's okay, Nart. They just focused on Taeng's weak condition, you should be strong enough to handle the situations, Nart." 

I said while caressing his hair. And gently patted his back. Comforted Nart. 

"C'mon, let's get inside. It's getting cold now." 

I walked near the caravan's front door and turned back to check whether he was following me or not but I found him standing still, looking at the sky. 

"Nart…! Come let's get inside." 

I know that he is not gonna come though he acts like he isn't paying attention to me. I held his shirt and dragged him inside. Ha~ Thank God there's a heater in the caravan. I flipped my leaf bangs back when I felt relief. Nart walked away from me and reached the refrigerator. 

I was sitting on the couch and just pulled my phone out to scroll on social media. My sight caught Nart with a piece of a wet cloth, walking near Taeng. She was resting on the bed. 

'What's going on here?' I stood up and walked a little bit near to him. He jerked the wet cloth and gently began rubbing on her face and then neck. 

I was so stunned by Nart's sudden change in behaviour. At least he's trying to understand Taeng. That's so good. Later Pim and Seventeen joined me. I immediately stopped them and we were all seeing them so surprisingly. 

"I shouldn't have blamed Nart." Seventeen whispered. 

"Aren't you planning to apologize, Nart?" Pim replied to him whisperingly. 

We were just whispering when suddenly Nart veered around us. We were all startled, just staring at him. With a sheepish smile, I said 

"Um. Nart, we will be going out for fresh air. If you don't mind, will you take care of Taeng?" 

"Yea, Nart. Will you?" Then Pim added. 

Nart turned his head back to Taeng and then said, "Why not? I'll take care of her. You guys have fun but get back soon." I smiled and walked out with Pim And Seventeen. Chai was sitting at the campfire, sucking the warmth of it with his palms out. I settled on a log placed around the campfire. 

Then followed by Pim and Seventeen. 

"If you guys are tired then just go take a rest in your camps," Chai said. 

"Ah. What about you then? Aren't you tired too?" I replied. 

"I don't know about you guys but I'm gonna hit the hay." Seventeen said while yawning. His sleepy eyes were enough to tell us about his sleepiness. 

"Let me join you then," Pim said. 

They both walked to their camps and got inside. Chai was pouring the dry wood sticks into the fire to keep it light. And I was just staring at the fire. I was a little disturbed by the things happening lately. 

"Moon, what are you thinking about so deeply?" Chai raised a question. 

"Chai, I have a friend. Let's name her A. So here, A loves a guy called B but B doesn't know that A loves him. She wants to confess her feelings to B but she is wondering if B is interested in her or not. And here I'm so confused!" I said, scratching and messing up my hair. 

"Let's go out tomorrow, I will give u a solution soon," Chai said and walked to his camp. I was just sitting and seeing him go to his camp.
