Chapter 41 Beginning the Barbarian Campaign

Ying Zheng's preparation for the barbarian campaign continued. His motivation for the campaign was numerous.

Parts of the barbarian subcontinent had been under Qin rule, and they had committed soldiers to the Qin war effort.

The barbarian subcontinent was a rich and partly fertile plains.

The barbarians had on numerous accounts attacked Qin's backs while they had no manpower to stop them, causing severe damage.

Both of the above reasons give Ying Zheng justification for his invasion. He also hoped to make it deeper into the Eurasian continent to have it form a western border for his future empire.
