Chapter three: A big problem

Amazed , by how he way she blatantly commanded him he didn't like people telling him what romeo do , but the way she said it sounded so sensual and erotic , he suddenly started to wonder how she behaved during sex.

" I meant take off your shirt " she corrected herself "take off your shirt " repeating her statement more firmly this time but he still didn't respond , Jasmine sighed like she had given up and stared at the handsome face before her angrily. He was silent but she could see his arrogant, yet mesmerizing eyes wating paitently for her to beg him.

Andrew stared silently at the doctor, somehow her command almost moved him but, it didn't even if she was the doctor and he patient he still didn't take commanded he called the shots no one did for him so if she wanted to conduct a test on him she'd have to plead .

"Very well then" Jasmine said "I'll conduct the test anyhow " she stated firmly and she noticed the way he squinted his eyes smirking devilishly. She knew Andrew Windfall and how proud he was and felt higher than anyone else. She promised herself never to be his victim or bow down after that incident . She wasn't going to throw away herself respect .

Still as a tree, Andrew watched her putting some heartbeat monitor around him and she started reading the information on her tablet which she held in her hand.

"I don't understand this" she said confusion written all over her face. "how?" . Jasmine started at the tablet , the heart reading was irregular it was like he was half dead, his pulse was there but it was like he was dying. she stared at him, he didn't even budge he was literally the most healthy person she had seen. What was happening?

He tried to read her mind but something was preventing him from, like some bairrer. This had never happened with humans, he couldn't sense any strange energy from her what was wrong ,why was this human was different .

"What's wrong " he asked her . and she opened her mouth to speak but words couldn't come out even her brain couldn't understand what was happening.

"Y..your heart " She stammered. "It's....your pulse is low.....I..I don't understand " she said staring at him in confusion.

Andrew wanted to smirk seeing the confusion and stress she was going through, trying to figure out what was going on. How would he tell her creatures like himself didn't have strong heartbeats or any at all.

He used his telekinetic abilities to make the tablet drop out of her hands , and she gasped horrified.

"Oh my God " she gasped bending down to pick up the tablet.

She stared at him in a dramatic manner wondering why he looked so unbothered by what she said ,he should have at least looked worried, but his face didn't show a glimpse of distress.

"What's your diagnosis " Andrew asked her his tone was so cold she felt as if a chilled wind passed her.

Jasmine shook her head trying to gain her composure.

"Ehm....I can't really diagnose you yet so you might have to come back " She couldn't believe she actually asked him to come back it meant more arrogant Andrew Windfall time .Could this day get any worse.

Andrew stood up from the bed walking towards her , he stood in front of her towering over her and she felt small standing so close to him. Staring into his eyes, she held her breath and he smirked evily ,he was about to say something when his phone rang with out a word or a second glance at her he walked out the room.

"Aha" Jasmine let out a sigh of relief ,she said a silent prayer hoping he would never come back.

Ashley video called her best friend wondering if she had gotten an invitation to the reunion ,she knew how uninterested Jasmine was when it came to men ever since the incident with Andrew . She wanted her friend to be happy and hoped seeing Andrew at the reunion wouldn't bring back bad memories.

When Jasmine picked up the video call she seemed nervous and a huge tub of icecream tub was in her hands.

"Oh no chocolate chip icecream " Ashley gasped "What is the problem " she inquired concerned knowing her best friend well she only had a tub of chocolate chip icecream when she was stressed or upset.

"Code red " she replied eating out of her icecream spoon.

"Oh no" Ashley sighed relief she was using a big scoop so it meant it was very serious. " It's a serious issue but you don't want to express yourself so it won't seem too much " Ashley stated she knew how to decode Jasmine's problem just by hearing and she seeing her.

"Go ahead Ash use your creepy best friend powers on me" Jasmine rolled her eyes. She and Ashley Kingston had been best friends since middle school even if they didn't go to the same college and weren't in the same country they still kept in touch .

"Jas what happened?"

Jasmine but her bottom lip then poured slightly news like what she was about to say deserved a little dramatic suspense. "I saw him"

"Oh father !! " Ash exclaimed "Who did you see " Ashley asked composed she didn't want to rush Jasmine if it was that serious.

"He came to my office today " Jasmine groaned scoping the icecream into her mouth.

"Okay " Ashley sighed gently "Who in heaven name did you see Jas " her voice calm but eager to hear the the story .

"Andrew "

Ashley adjusted her glasses taken aback by the name Jasmine mentioned. "Andrew Windfall ?" she asked to confirm. Jasmine nodded affirmatively.

Ashley couldn't belive it , Andrew Windfall it was so strange what would be doing in Jasmine's office.

"Andrew Windfall was in you office today!!!" she exclaimed surprised.

"Yes he came for a check up " Jasmine replied causally.

"Oh my God did he recognize you" she inquired

Jasmine smirked bitterly "No he didn't the bastard was trying to flirt with me, throwing advances I would have slapped him if I could " She complained sourly

"Whoa relax therapy has done better than this , don't get all upset" Ashley tried to calm her down. "But what was Andrew doing in a cardiologist office?"
