Your pictures I've hidden, deep in my heart,

Guarding them fiercely, with a secret art.

That my affection for you shall remain,

But from afar, like whispers in the rain.

Threatens to unravel this affection of mine,

Yet refusing to surrender, I bide my time.

I wonder, are you safe and sound?

What joys and sorrows have you found?

Though my heart aches with a yearning so strong,

I must respect the choices that you belong....

For deep within, a truth I must confess

You belong to someone else, a painful distress
