Chapter - 7

(Luke P.O.V)

After taking a hot shower to relax my tense muscles, I call my best friend to thank him for all his help. After two rings he finally picks the phone.

“Yo teme,” he said.

“Hey, dobe, Did you do what I told you to do?” I ask him.

“Don’t worry I told her everything you said...and she promises she won’t hurt her anymore just give the money you said every month,” he said to me.

“ thank you for all your help,” I said.

“No problem, dude after all what are friends made for?” he said and I can practically see him smiling at the phone.

“True,” I said with the sigh.

“What did Varun say about this?” he asks.

“Nothing,” I said and laid down at my bed.

“Anyway, can you tell me what is special about this girl that you wanted to help her so badly?” he asks curiously.

“Why do you ask?” I ask.

“I know you very well science we were kids, you don’t talk or even care for anyone just like this teme,”

“Hmm,” I hummed at him.

“What was that? hmm,” he asks.

“I think it’s getting late, it’s almost time to sleep,” I said to avoid this conversation.

“You still didn’t answer my question yet,” he said annoyed.

“Dobe you better hung up or otherwise I will kill you,” I said beyond annoyed.

“Oh, okay good night teme,” he said scared and hung up. I chuckled at him and fallen asleep. (Varon P.O.V)

To say I was shocked with his out bust would be the understatement of the year. I have thought he would say he didn’t know that Alisha and the girl he purchased was the same person and that he would take his money back but what happened has totally taken me off the guard.

I better call the father and let him take care of this in his way and let’s see where it take us with that thought I walked to my room and call my father. After two calls he finally picks up the phone.

“Hello,” he said.

“Hello dad, are you free right now? I have an important matter to discuss with you,” I ask him.

“We can talk about it at dinner Varun, I have an important meeting to attend now, ” he said in a stern voice.

“It’s a very important dad, it’s about Luke's dad,” I said urgently.

“Okay, meet me at my office,” he said with a sigh.

“Okay, I will meet you there,” I said and hang up the call. I take my car keys and walk out of the house to my car and drive to my father's office. After 15 minutes I reach there and park my car and walk up to my father’s office. I knocked two times at his door.

“Come in,” a faint voice said from inside and I walk in his office.

“What is that you want to talk about that can’t wait till the dinner,” he said very annoyed with my wish to meet him at his office urgently and I explained everything to him about what happened between me and Luke this evening.

“He said what?” my dad asks stunned with the news.

“Yes, dad he said that and I am sad to say that but I think he has become obsessed with her,” I said while looking down at my hands and he just nodded at me.

“Let him cool down a little fist then I will talk to him and tell him to take back money, okay if he still didn’t do it then I will think what to do with him, okay?” he asks and I nodded at him.

“Go know I will see you at dinner,” he said and I walk out of his office hoping that everything will go as plan.

(Rayn P.O.V)

When Varon said everything about what happened between him and Luke to say I was shocked was an understatement I was stunned.

I told Varun that Let him cool down a little fist then I will talk to him and tell him to take back money, if he still didn’t do it then I will think what to do with him.

If what he thinks is true then this is can go out of our hands. I don’t want the history with their sister to repeat with both of them. If Luke was really obsessed with this girl then any one of three of them hurt very seriously which I don’t want to happen.

I have lost my daughter because of her obsessed lover but I can’t lose any of my sons because of Luke’s obsession with this girl. If you are wondering what happens to my daughter than his obsessed lover saw her on the top of one of her friend because she tripped because of someone and fall on her friend top who was a boy and his obsessed lover saw that and killed both of them in an accusation that she cheated on him.

My wife has gone into depression due to that until Luke comes into our life. My thought was interrupted by the ring of my phone. I pick up my phone to see it was my old friend Oliver.

“Heys Oliver, how are you, my friend? Long time no sees huh,” I said in the phone.

“I am fine, indeed it was a long time we saw each other, how are you and your wife and son?” he asks in the phone.

“We are fine and healthy what about your daughter, how was she?” I ask on the phone.

“She was fine she has just completed her high school, how was your business going on man?” he asks.

“Wonderful, what about you?” I ask.

“Mine too,” he said and laughed.

“I heard you are going to come to England after a week, and I was also staying in England for a year to start up my new business, so don’t forget to come and visit me, I will send you to address of my hotel, it’s a long time since we meet and spent some time with each, if possible also bring your kids and wife with yourself, he said.

“Indeed, I can’t promise to bring them but I will try, anyway what about Mr. Thakkur deal you were excited to seal a few days ago,” I ask.

“I am here in England to complete that project only,” he said excitedly and I laugh at him.

“Good to know, congratulation for the deal man,” I said to him.

“Thaks man, see you in England, bye,” he said to me.

“Bye,” I said and hang up the phone.

Olivers daughter why didn’t I think about it earlier, Snehal and Luke have grown up together until they move out of the country for Oliver new business startup, they were the best friend and inseparable before, they will be best for each other.

I wonder what will Oliver say about their marriage proposal. I guess I have to wait for that till I meet him face to face. I hope he accepts my proposal. I get up from my seat and walk out to the conference room to attend my postponed meeting with a very important client.
