Alpha Mike pov

My mate just fainted again,it's been almost two hours and am loosing my mind. I am now out for a run and it's still not helping,and that is when I heard something,a twick and stopped immediately,this was when I realised my mind has been too occupied that I missed it,I missed the smell of vampires in my territory. Vampires !! this can only mean problem,I mindlinked my  beta and gamma and then followed the smell.

Just by the end of my territory,I saw a dead person,a dead pack member, one of our orphan kid ,his body pale as the litches have sucked him try,in his mouth was a piece of paper

We heard you found your mate,she also happens to be special,we just wonder if the prophecy was true

My body shivered,my mate is in danger,they are threatening my mate and to a werewolf and an Alpha for that matter this is considered a big deal. This call for war,but before that what prophecy?  I am not concerned for my mates well being only but for that of my pack members too,I have just lost one of our own.

"Oh shit, Alpha what happened to this kid? Screw that where are those vampires, we need to find them and teach them a lesson, besides why are they just suddenly showing up now it has been decades not seeing them."

I gave my Beta the note, because I knew if I didn't he was not going to shut the hell up.

After the incident,we just scheduled for a pack meeting for today at 19:00 so that I can brief the pack and tell them to always be on guard and to always go in groups.Now I am back in hospital and my mate is still in coma.
