Meeting a Gentle Giant.....

Man, second chapter in and I'm already breathing hard-

Since this is my first book you know... making me a little..... nervous. Anyways, on to the story.

Date: October 13th, 2000

Place: Near the moon

Reaching there in little to no time, Hal Jordan stopped in front of the moon to meet this "Unknown" Object. Then, he just stood there... I mean, he'd reached space in seconds, meanwhile the unknown object what's still moving to him. Looking closely at the unknown object, he noticed that it was HUGE, heck, GINORMOUS even.... and had eyes? Was it an Alien?

"Ring, scan lifeform." Scanning the lifeform, the ring spoke out.

[LIFEFORM IS CATEGORIZE AS MEDIUM THREAT. LIFEFORM IS A TO'KUSTAR, ONE OF THE MOST POWERFUL AND GENTLE BEINGS IN THE UNIVERSE.]

This shook Hal to his core, one of the most powerful beings in the universe? 'It just had to happen on my first day back. First one cosmic being now another one?' Hal couldn't help but get serious for once. If such a being lands on Earth, Hal couldn't help but wonder what'll happen. By now the being was really close, so Hal decided to make himself known.

'Hopefully nothing bad happens...'

"Halt right there To'kustar, may I know the reason for your visit?" Stoping from hearing a sudden voice, I looked around to find... a Green Lantern? 'What in the....' Looking at the Green Lantern, I was Flabbergasted. 'What in the world is a Green Lantern doing here, and why is he so... Small?'

Looking at the Green Lantern in from of me, I couldn't help but notice that he's incredibly small. I legit didn't even notice he was there until I heard him. Then again, it's not like I was trying to look for him like I was looking at the for the small crystals (Which some is still on my skin).

Looking at him, I didn't know what to say..... Wait, did he just mention a To'kustar? Like..... from Ben 10? As in a Cosmic Level Being that can Destroy world's by accident and a solar system if their serious? But..... if we look around, there's nothing..... suddenly, I caught sight of something... my arms. They're pitch black. Looking at myself even further, I sucked in a breath.....

"I'm not-" I stopped myself from finishing that sentence as I reeled back at how deep my voice is. It literally sounded like rumbling. Like, soft rumbling. How that's possible, I do not know. Getting back on track, I'm not human. I'm seemingly a To'kustar (If what Green Lantern said was true) in what seems like the DC universe of some kind by the looks of it. Man I just hope it's not Injustice, Or heck, maybe it's the one where Batman Laughs.....

"*Cough* *Cough*"

I'm snapped out of my thoughts by by the coughing sounds. Looking at Green Lantern, I couldn't help but look little bit embarrassed. "Sorry about that, I was just lost in thought..." I said while looking down at him. "No problem, but may I know the reason why you're here?" He said with a raised eyebrow.

"Well, It's just that this planet confused me. I mean, why would a backwater sector like this need an ACTIVE Green Lantern. Like, I know every Sector has one I just didn't know that BACKWATER sectors like this needed one too." I spoke with my voice deep. You might be wondering what I'm doing right? Well, I'm tryna play the "Arrogant alien from another world" Card.

Looking at Hal, he seemed to not like what I said. "I'll have you know, that this sector is pretty dangerous enough a Green Lantern." He said sounding very mad that I'm questioning the danger of his planet. Which honestly confused me, he WANTED his planet to have danger?

"Anyways, may you please leave now that you've see my 'Backwater' planet?" He said looking a bit annoyed. However, that kinda made me a little mad. I was a COSMIC level being. I can destroy PLANTS with just ONE punch. Now I don't know if that ring of his includes more than a species name, but he better put some respect in his voice. Now I'm not saying I'll destroy Earth but come on..... like, come on.

Sensing my anger Hal sighed while frowning, "Listen, I'm sorry but you just disrespected Earth. MY HOME." He said putting emphasis on that. Which well... yeah I know it's your home, I kinda said it for that reason HOWEVER, he wasn't really supposed to get that mad. Maybe I should've done it to Batman?

Thinking of a way to salvage this situation, I thought of a way to salvage it and have it to my advantage.

"How about I stay on Earth then? I wanna see what makes this planet so..... 'Dangerous.' " I said with a grin forming on my face. Hal looked at me in confusion, "You..... wanna see how dangerous my planet is?" He said while looked at me like I was stupid. I chuckled, "Why of course, if you said it was so 'Dangerous', I wanna know the reason why you think that." Saying that, Hal looked at me. Like he LOOKED, looked at me.

"I would invite you but..." I blinked at him then looked down at my body. 'Oh..... OHHHHHHH!!!!!!!' I mentally face palmed, I'm literally as big as hell. Imagine what would happen if a giant alien suddenly landed on Earth out of nowhere, every country would be sending nukes at me. Sighing, I couldn't help but wish I was small as Hal-

'HOLYYYYYY SHIIII-' As soon as I thought about that, I could feel myself getting smaller. Soon, I was as was as small as Hal. I was a little taller than him, but still at least in "Human" range.

Looking back at him I could see him gawking, I spoke, "Wouldn't be a problem now would it?" He continued to gawk.

I'm not gonna lie, this was very hard for me. I had to force it. Heck, I even thought I was stupid with the way I handled it. But I mean hey... it's pretty good for my first time writing right? RIGHT?
