PENELOPE ELEANOR

"This is what we're going to do. Let's pretend that Penelope likes Escanor. Then, in order for Penelope to know if Escanor likes her too, I suggested as your friend that we will find out through gestures when he talks to you, Penelope. For so long, what Raelynn explained to us was just her scream that dominated my mind.

I nodded to Raelynn and smiled at her.

"Okay. Let's get started?" I asked them both.

Raelynn's face wouldn't go away, and she had a huge smile since before. With the kind of smile she had, there was definitely something wrong running through her mind.

We started to rehearse a few lines, and then we started making a video as well.

Kennedy and I now face each other as we sit in two swerving chairs.

"A-Ah, E-Escanor, I'd like you to teach me something about math if it's okay with you." I looked at Kennedy’s two knees, then I averted my gaze from him as a sign that supposedly I was nervous now because I was talking to my crush.

Kennedy didn't answer me right away. He just stared at me and after a while he suddenly smiled.

"Cut! Stop! I know you seem to be thrilled with your seat, but don't forget your lines, bes." Raelynn winked at me and she giggled with laughter.

I cringed because of what she said. Suddenly, my two cheeks became hot with embarrassment.

No, Penelope. What are you thinking?

I lifted my face and glared at my friend whom I had been laughing at before.

"I'm sorry. I just forgot my lines. Tss." I glared at her and looked in Kennedy's direction.

Kennedy also smiled at me, but I suddenly felt embarrassed again, so I just scratched my head.

"Let's try again. I'm sorry."

"It's fine." He laughed softly and smiled at me again.

This man has countless smiles.

"Where are we cut off?" I was embarrassed to question Kennedy.

"To the scene where I ask you."

I nodded at Kennedy's answer, and I took a deep breath before continuing what we were doing before.

"Ah, in the new lesson. Hehe." I looked again at Kennedy's knee, and then I also looked at his two hands.

I don't know what will happen next because Kennedy and I will only show gestures for now.

Kennedy moved his chair closer to me. Then he clung to me while showing the contents of the notebook he had been holding earlier.

My heartbeat quickened again, and I felt something because Kennedy was so close to me.

"Is this it?"

I could even feel Kennedy's breath on my face when he spoke.

I pinch some of my hair on the right side of my face to my ear.

I nodded to Kennedy.

Our acting lasted longer because of the free tutor that Kennedy did to me.

Kennedy was a good actor. If he had just joined the theaters, he might have become even more famous today. Kennedy is also handsome.

I just don’t know why every time I look at him, I feel like I remember someone. I’m just not know who it is. Kennedy seemed familiar to me.

"And now, cut! Hooray! We're done." To Raelynn's delight, she suddenly grabbed and hug us.

I was shocked at what she did, but I just hugged them too. Kennedy did the same. I felt his hand on my back.

I looked in Kennedy's direction and our eyes met again. He smiled at me. I felt ashamed of him, but I just smiled back.

Then we let go of the hug. Because of our personality, Raelynn is always the first to speak between the three of us.

"Who's going to edit our work?" Raelynn asked us.

"Let me do it."

I haven't spoken yet, but Kennedy has preceded me. Maybe it's good that he did it so I don't have to do anything. Hahaha.

"Sure. Just send it to us when you're done making the video."

Kennedy nodded at me.

"We're going home too because we're done. Be careful, bes." Raelynn kissed me on the cheek.

I laughed at what she said. "You have to be careful because you're still going to ride."

We clean the equipment we used. Kennedy and Raelynn took their laptop before we finally left the guess room.

In the living room, we passed Arthur. He stood up and followed us to the exit when he saw us.

We were at the gate of the mansion when I remembered to ask Kennedy.

"I just remember. Kennedy, do you already know what perfume you're using?"

Kennedy stopped walking and faced me. He nodded at me and approached me. Then, he handed me a piece of paper. I picked it up and read it. Then I smiled at Kennedy.

"Thank you."

"Why did you ask about it, anyway?"

I shook my head at Kennedy's question. "Nothing. I just wanted to give someone some perfume."

Kennedy just nodded at me, and he chased after my friend. Before they completely disappeared from my sight, Raelynn shouted.

"Bes, show me your future husband next time!"

I just took a deep breath when I heard her giggle after speaking.

She's really energetic today.
