25 Luna’s Past & The Truth

"Cain, so this is your adoptive daughter that you love to gush about all the time Huh?" Luna says as she stands besides me while looking over Charlie who doesn't know what to say.

"Well kid you don't need to be awkward around me, I haven't been an exorcist or an Angel really in well over 10,000 years, back during the times Cain would actively interfere with the Exterminations that is." She says trying to ease the mood which it sort of did at the very least.

"Oh um, okay I guess? I mean that must have been a long time ago since then I guess, I haven't lived that long to understand how long that actually is…." But that just makes Luna chuckle a little at hearing that.

"Don't worry about it little Morningstar, time whether it's long or short can change someone's views on hell, I even heard that some exorcists couldn't stomach doing what they were doing anymore and went and disobeyed heaven and thus they lost there wings as a result and were left for dead down here in hell, and there are others-" she said before squinting her eye as she looked at me.

"-Who had no choice but to fall unless they wanted to die." She said emphasis on the 'die' part as she elbowed me in the ribs making me have to hold my side as I slightly winced in pain.

"You still haven't gotten over that? Isn't your life more interesting and exciting than it ever was up in heaven?" I say rubbing my side but I noticed the looks in both Charlie and Vaggies eyes as they wanted more context.

"Haaaa…. Luna didn't fall of her own volition, I gave her an ultimatum, either fall and join me or die down here in hell…."

*Flashback*

11,000 years ago, a thousand years before the binding pact was put in place on Cain.

"HAHAHAHA!!! Go and run you bitches! I'm going to rip off those fucking wings of yours and mount them on a fucking wall!!!" Cain screamed out as he had entered his full blown demon form that didn't even show a former shread of what was his humanity in this purely demonic form.

He wielded both of his blades as he act like an Angel meat grinder for any exorcist that came his way, and while he did so all of he'll cheered on as he was seen as hells guardian against the psychopathic angels in there eyes that wanted to see nothing but their complete and total destruction.

"Everyone fall back! Adam! Open up a portal for the girls! We have to cut this extermination short or else we will lose everyone!" Luna, the at the time Vice Commander of the Exorcist Army called out to Adam who wasn't leading this one personally and was just watching from Heaven as he was still nursing his wounds from the previous Extremination that Cain had interrupted.

"Fucker! I swear I'll rip off his fucking head and mount it on my fucking wall if he gives me that fucking chance! Fine! Attention all Bitches! Fall back! This Extermination is a fucking bust! Head back to heaven now!!!" He shouted out across the heavenly comms for the full retreat of the Exorcists.

"Like I will let you bitches run that easily!!!" He shouted out to get in the way of their escape, however, their leader in this battle, Luna, intercepted me to give the girls a chance to escape.

"Hooo? Well what do we have hear? A little bitch who actually has a bit of back bone huh? Well you better keep me entertained, so don't disappoint me girl!" He shouted out as this was the first time in quite awhile that someone besides Adam who could hold him back, even if it's only just barely that is.

And so they fought it out while the Exorcists made their escape.

*End Flashback*

"And well that's how I lost my Eye in that fight…. And also when Adam decided to betray me and left me for dead…." Luna said not feeling too great remembering that.

"Oh! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to make you have to-" Charlie was apologizing but Luna just patted her shoulder.

"It's okay Kid, it's been a long time and while it hurts, I've gotten over it as time has passed, hell after the fighting Cain said I could go back to heaven since he wanted to have a good challenge the next time he interfered with an extermination…. But when I called all I got was silence from heaven even when I called out for them, and seeing me that way, either I join Cain or he'd put me out of my misery as even if the Demons couldn't be killed permanently without angelic weapons, they would take vengeance on me real quick since they had seen my face, and my weapons had been shattered at the end of our fight, and I didn't really want to die I took Cains deal and here I am now." She said summing everything that happened between me and her way back then.

'But that's not entirely true.' I think as I've been lying to her this entire time I've known her, it wasn't me that interferes with Heaven so that wasn't a lie, but at the time my Master was the one who had blocked communications between hell and heaven making it seem Adam left her to die, but there's a good chance that he actually did as the next extermination after that he didn't mention anything about vengeance or whatever so he really didn't care what happened to Luna so it's best for both me and her that it's the truth.

"But enough about me, how about you two? How'd you meet?" Luna decided to change the subject while she was looking closely at Vaggie who clearly who was looking nervous behind her sunglasses.

"Oh us? Well it was a few years back after the day of an Extermination and I found Vaggie injured on the ground in a desolate alley, and well I patched her up and nursed her back to health and well…. We slowly became a couple after awhile and we've been with each other ever since." Charlie says with a genuinely happy look on her face as she brings and holds Vaggie close to her which just makes me smile at the sight of that.

"…. So your saying she was left for dead after an extermination and not just killed by the exorcists outright." Luna said which made Vaggie get visibly tense which Charlie quickly noticed.

"…. Babe?" Charlie said with a worried voice as she could see Vaggies hands shaking as she took her hands within her own trying to see what's wrong, but Vaggie was keeping tight lipped.

"Vaggie, I know I shouldn't have done this to you, but like I said when we met for the first time, it's best to tell the truth when it comes to who you are." I say coming between the two as I placed their hands between my own hands as I looked at the two of them.

"Vaggie?" Charlie wanted to know but she didn't want to Push her girlfriend to hard on it as she could see how tense she was being.

"Charlie, Do you love Vaggie? Do you love her so much that no matter what she has kept hidden from you that you will always keep loving her?" I asked my little girl with a serious look on my face, and at that moment all the context clues clicked in Charlie's head as she felt like Vaggie had some secrets and even some baggage from her past and as the girlfriend she is she soon moved her hands away from the hand holding before she pulled Vaggie in for a hug as she held her tightly.

"Vaggie, I don't care what you were before but you opening up to me and telling me who you once were would make me the happiest girl in all of hell to know you trust me with something you have been holding so closely to your chest all these years we've known each other, I mean I might have secrets that I haven't mentioned to you as well, maybe but there not as big but-" But Vaggie cuts her off by pulling her into a deep kiss before pulling back and looking up at Charlie with a look full of love as she pulls off her sunglasses and puts them on top of her sun hat.

"Charlie, you will still love me even if I was once an Exorcist?" She said laying it all out bare before Charlie.

But hearing that just made her smile when she heard that before pulling Vaggie in and kissing her deeply while me and Luna looked on before fist bumping each other seeing that the mission was a success.

"So then, when shall I set up your wedding?" I said with a smirk which made them blush real hard in return.

"Uncle Cain! Knock it off already!" Charlie said but I just laughed with a happy smile on my face seeing the trust and love between the two love birds.

Sometimes the Truth can Hurt, but it can Also set you Free.

Chapter two for you guys since we hit the 100 powerstone milestone next milestone is 150 powerstones, so let's keep this train a rolling!

Also I'm still taking suggestions for more ideas to have to do with him in heaven, and it can be anything so long as it fits within the rules of heaven after all.

I know some of you guys would love nothing more than more Adam chapters but like I said before, Heaven is full of rules and restrictions that make it difficult for him to do things that even we can do since heaven is perfect so give me your ideas that I can work with for him and I'll take them and make chaps that seem right to him at this point in time before the next Extermination Deadline.
