Grant and Leona changed from their home clothes to more appropriate attire, and both had their armor underneath. Grant left his bow at home because it was pointless to carry something around that he had no experience with. He brought his gauntlets though. He carried them in a bag on his shoulder. While they were changing Havok put on the bracers that he bought, he wore them under his long sleeve shirt. They blended in well, the only way someone would know that he was wearing them was if someone grabbed his forearms.
