Memories of the past(2)

When the door opened,I couldn't help but smile at the man before me,tall and well built with sandy brown hair and sea blue eyes,Simon looked in surprise as he wasn't expecting me.

"Hey babes",he said stepping away from the door to let me in,"you didn't tell me you were coming".

"I figured I didn't need an invitation to my boyfriend's house,I replied trying to be sassy.

Simon smiled at Havilah's remark but couldn't help noticing that something was wrong.

"You look upset,"he said straight away not beating around the bush.

The tears that I was keeping at bay broke through and flooded my face, Havilah grabbed Simon and continued crying heavily with her face buried in his chest.

Simon was worried at the sudden outburst and couldn't help but get worried thinking that he had said something wrong.

He stroked her hair and led her to a chair waiting for her to calm down,when the crying and heaving had finally subsided Simon gently raised her head up and look into her brown doe like eyes and asked gently what the matter was.

"It my father, Havilah replied sniffing,"he still wants me to get married to Don and I don't know what to do anymore,I delayed this with the excuse that am not of age but now am 21 and he isn't falling for the trick any longer.

Simon was dejected on hearing this and wished for once that he was from an influential family.

"I think we should elope, Havilah said once again interrupting his train thought"

"Huh, Simon frowned,that was never in the options available,he said,but he could also feel her despair and wished he could offer a better idea.

"He isn't going to wait and I fear he might marry me off sooner than it was planned."

"Let's not think about running away for now,Simon replied pulling her closer.

Their lips met in frustration and a heated kiss full of passion ensued with both fighting for dominance.

One thing led to another and Havilah was already removing Simon's shirt with aggression wth the hope that the future before them would be a favourable one.
