CHAP - 4 Rewards....
Being in the top 10 rankings in LAC was a very big thing. So there were many benefits for students who were placed within this ranks. And one of these reward was a day of cultivation in a Mana pool.
Actually, the rewards were several useful resources , a day in Mana pool and a weapon forged for you according to your specifics. And there was still a month of time to use these rewards.
But there was a catch.
Because on the first day of LAC there will be a test and the rankings will be changed.
3 out of 15 were going to fall out of Class-A due to the test.
.... I am one of those 3 who will be demoted to Class-B . Once you are out of the top 10, you can no longer claim your rewards.
Since I wanted to go along with the story, I was not that sad about the resources and the custom weapon. My father owns one of the top 3 Weapon Suppliers and since I am rich , so the resources doesn't matter much to me.
But the Mana pool was too good of a chance to let go.
Not even money can provide you with a chance to cultivate in this pool. Mana pools are a small size lake made up of concentrated Mana accumulated for more than 200 years . Even in a large city like Keston there are only 4 Mana pools . One of which is managed by LAC.
Currently I was wearing LAC's uniform. It was a plain white shirt and blue pants along with a blue coat with an emblem of our Academy present on it. It suited my looks and tastes very well.
After 30 minutes of walking from the dormitory I was finally on my destination. It was a huge Glass building with a dome in the middle. ' Mana Zone' were the words engraved on the building. With a look of awe and excitement I entered the building.
As soon as I entered, an employee came towards me and asked ....
" Top 10 ranked , wants to use your Mana pool reward, Right?"
... I nodded and showed him my ID. After he checked, he led me to the middle of the building and from there we took an elevator to go underground.
After 10 minutes passed, the elevator stopped and the door opened. As soon as the door opened the Mana concentration rose to another level.
It was a huge Lake made up of natural Mana and was green in color. There were 3 small boats tucked in a corner.
" There are 5 spots in this lake which gives the most benefits. Two of them are already taken right now, so you are not allowed to go there . Choose from the other 3 and then take the boat . The boat has a mechanism which will take you to your spot and after 24 hours will bring you back"
"Always stay on the boat , unless you want to die!"
" Alright I said everything, now go to your spot and come back tomorrow. "
' He is clearly not in a good move ' I thought .
I went to the corner where the boats were docked. South , East , North those were the words engraved on each of the boat respectively. I made up my mind and went with the south spot.
The boat started slowly heading towards the southern direction and after 20 or so minutes later it stopped. The Mana concentration here was much more pure than that in the rest of the lake.

[ Your 24 Hours time limit has initiated ]
A mechanical voice came from the boat . I sat with my legs folded and without wasting any further moment started my cultivation.
The cultivation technique the previous Altrees was following was called Heaths Sword Art.
This was a technique for exclusively magic swordsmen. The main advantage of this technique was that whenever for the first 4 level user brokethrough in any one be mana/physique the other part will also have a breakthrough.
Example, if I enter 3rd circle today then I will have automatically entered D RANK.
1 hour passed.
2 hours passed.
18 hours passed.
Soon my body began shaking and all the surrounding Mana started flooding into my body at an insane rate .
While bearing the huge pressure from the invading Mana in both my heart and body , I started the 3rd technique of Heaths Sword and my body began to stabilize.
Another 3 hours passed.
Now my body was full of energy and my heart had a 3rd circle around it.
' I broke through D RANK ' , a smile appeared on my face.
Taking a deep breath I said ...
" RETURN "
[... AFFIRMATIVE ]
After 30 minutes I was back at the deck again.
There were two more people along with the employee who seemed to be waiting for me.
" Since everyone has come back , follow me " , the employee looked at 3 of us and started heading towards the elevator.
As we were in the elevator I looked at my 2 classmates - Ren Link and Elizabeth Turin.

Raiders Secret Hideout.
On the terrace of a destroyed Castle, two shadows were having an important conversation.
" Was she successful? "
" Yes , Young miss has successfully infiltrated LAC "
" Hmmm"
" The war is coming closer .... Is everyone ready on our side ? "
" We need 2 years to get everything ready "
" Alright . And tell everyone we will be leaving the tower after 3 months "
" It's time for us to return "
