Chapter 10

Aurora's POV

I met Mrs. Kala in the maids quarters, and she escorted me up until the fourth floor of the mansion.

"Up here only the alphas bedroom is occupied. Both the beta, gamma and elders reside on the third floor.

The second floor is only for guests and the offices. And you already know the first floor." Mrs. Kala explained as I followed behind her trying to remember every turn we took.

"Here we are dearie. This is your room." She said as she stood before a door.

"The alphas bedroom is the one down the hall." She said pointing to the lonely door that stood at the end of the hall.

"Here are your keys. Beta Barone already left your luggage in there. Just go ahead and get settled in. I'll come looking for you in a bit for lunch." She said.

"Um. I'm not really hungry Mrs. Kala. I'll just unpack and lay down for a while." I said to the older lady.

"You sure honey? You didn't eat breakfast either, did you?" She said a bit concerned.
