20 Let the show began(2)

An anchor came ,standing at the centre of the stage holding a mic on his hand. He was the leading organizer of this auction anyway.

" ladies and gentlemen . Thank you for coming all the way from your place to attend our auction." The anchor said feeling pleased to see many big shots Infront of his eyes.

" we feel honored with your presence and I will not further delay you anymore and so ,let's look at the first auction item . "

" The first auction item is Vintage leica camera which is rare item and I hope everyone knows it's value. It's a bla bla.. "

The anchor went on with its specifications.

" The starting price is from 1.5 million dollars."

" And the bidding price starts now."

" 1.51 million." One man said raising his chip.

" 1.6 million." Another man said raising his chip.

The bidding continued and so james and Micheal didn't rise their chip. They were waiting for the master piece to appear .

The first item was sold off after sometime and one by one each item got sold off until two items remained.

Soon the auction was about to end with two items left to sold off .

" Now we put the most precious item on to the stage." A man came with a trolley containing a necklace . That necklace was beautiful and have been shining all time . It was silver necklace decorated with blue gems and rubies. It's sight was satisfying.

Every female partner had an eye on that necklace. Even Alexia stared at the item with a shine .

" Oh my....That necklace is so beautiful

..." Some woman said not being able to control their emotions. That necklace was indeed tempting and pleasing on the eye.

' It's beautiful. ' she thought so.

' But I don't deserve to wish for something like that .' Her face became pale ,but she kept her fake smile. She dare not to dream about some like that , a mere object . Her only purpose on this life is to destroy james. So she must not be tempted by anything else, not even love.

Micheal understood her liking to that item as how she stared at the necklace for a while and also because of her sudden change in mood. He smirked.

" Wow.. that necklace is beautiful." Lilian said staring at that necklace with her glittering eyes.

" Is it.." james smiled as he saw her expression on seeing a mere necklace. He chuckled as he saw his fiance fascinating , while seeing that ornament.

" This necklace is called pearl drop. And this is one of most precious item to gift your female partner."

"Princess Tanisha was the previous owner of this necklace. It had been imported from India and this necklace hold a great value as a symbol of love."

The anchor further added some news relating to the necklace.

" Starting price for this item is 2million and you may start to rise your price now."

James raised his price along with others.

He raised his hand with the chip and yelled." 2.5 million."

As he raised the price Lilian became surprised and was so happy. " Are you going to buy that for me." She asked to reassure.

" Off cause. Anything my fiance desire , I will get it for you. " He said.

She blushed when she heard his reply. She was all thrilled to buy that necklace but it didn't last long.

After he began to bid all went silent because they knew they were not a match for him for now.

Suddenly micheal raised his hand with his chip and yelled" 20 millions "

After he bid the price, james turned to face micheal who gave him a wink. He felt insulted and so he yelled again to rise the price" 20.2 million."

" 50 million."

" What??? 50 million...." Everyone's eyes widen in shock as micheal raised the bid price. It was indeed beautiful but not to the extent that to increase money above the limited price. That necklace was not worth it.

' What the hell? Why does he want? ' Lilian was furious, as to micheal being childish to fight with them for a mere necklace.She glared at him .

'If he really wants a necklace then he should buy another one why bothering us .' she murmured.

' What the hell. What does he want to do?' james thought while griping the chip tight and bid again , since he was not found off losing.

" 50.1" James yelled.

" 60" Micheal said in a loud voice with a grin.

As Micheal called 60 ,everyones soul went including alexia who was burying her head in shame . Even if he brought it for her still she couldn't accept that.

That was too costly for her to accept it anyway.

Even the anchor was sweating. He was panicking in the battle between most famous and rich men only to buy a necklace. It was indeed to much for him to see.

He never thought that he would witness two man fighting for a mere necklace which was only 2 million. Thanks to Micheal it's value increased to 60 million.

James didn't raise further since he had to buy something more precious than that. So he lowered his hand and frowned. This was the first time he lost and towards his most hated enemy Micheal.

Micheal smirked as he lowered his hand and he felt relaxed to see james expression after being lost. It was indeed a sight to see for him. But it was not enough.

The anchor wiped his sweat from his forehead and continued after he saw james not bidding again.

" So 60 million bid is going to be fixed. If anyone want to bid then do it now. "

" 60 million one time."

" 60 million two times." He rolled his eyes towards James who still kept quiet and didn't bid more. He hoped he would bid again. But he didn't.

Lilian took a glance at james and thought he would buy that for her but he didn't. She frowned and felt anger towards micheal.' That bastard...' She cursed him in her inside while clenching into fist.

" 60 million three time. It's fixed." He smashed the table in excitement.

Lilian frowned as micheal got the necklace.

" This pearl drop necklace is been sold of to Mr Michael Benjamin ."

James tightened his lips and folded his hand furiously. ' That son of a bit**' He murmured.

Alexia was about to bury herself in, as he brought that necklace for 60 million. She knows he was buying that for her and also to win against james.

Micheal rolled his eyes towards her and asked ." How is it ?Do you like it?"

With a faint smile she replied." Like it."

' what do you mean how is it? You really have brought that necklace for 60 million when it's value was only 2 million. How can I like it or feel happy about that.' she thought so.

" This is nothing. You will experience more than this." He said with a smirk.

" More??" She was confused that he didn't want to stop there and wanted to buy more.

" Now , now . We will continue with our bidding for the last item." The anchor continued after being selling off that necklace. Now it was the time for the real thing to get sold off.

" This last item is a land piece."

" This land piece is situated near the ocean with beautiful views. It said that the owner have been personally recommended to sell this property . And I can guarantee that who ever buy this land won't be unsatisfied." The anchor added.

" So let's start the bid ."

Micheal and james took a glance at each other with a meaningful look and them turned to face the anchor with a fighting spirit.

##This auction may look unrealistic since I never went for one . So I only wrote according to some film I watched. I have changed the name of james fiance.
