Chapter 18 Cafe

"How could you say something like that in front of Elena!" I scolded as I looked at Elena worriedly.

She has an expressionless face.

"Elena please leave us and go watch to the living room." I dismissed her and she left without question.

"Elenore can you fucking be a mother for once?" I yelled.

"Hushed Rhoda, Elena will hear you." Father cautioned.

"Elenore is right Rhoda." Mom finally spoke up and it shocked me. She was in side with Elenore?

"How can she be right? How is she right mom?" I yelled again.

"Yesterday you stole for us because there was no money! How on earth are we supposed to send her to school like this?" She yelled too. "I had never thought that day would come." She mumbled and I could not believe my ears. They thought I stole!?

"Are you hearing yourself mother!" I continued yelling. "You think I stole?"

"Not think, I know you did. She don't have to lie." She corrected and I was dumbfounded.
