Twenty Two

 She could hear her brother's voice fading with every second that passed, her vision was limited and hazy due to the blood that flowed from her forehead. It hurt so much, she thought as her brother lifted her from the ground.

 " Abigail... Abigail...stay with me.....live... ", she could barely hear the words he was saying but she had a vague understanding of what he was trying to say but it wouldn't be easy for her to follow what he said. She grew tired of thinking and slowly slipped out of consciousness, her brother's and father's voice become unclear to her.

 Father? Why does he care? She didn't bother about it and soon she could hear nothing at all. Was she really going to die a second time? I was already starting to like my stay here. She felt sad leaving everything behind.

 After a few moments in silence, a warm soothing feeling enveloped her entire body. Dying felt nice she said to herself. Not long after the pain returned.
