Twenty four

 Eliza's mind has been a mess for the past week, when she heard what had happened to Abigail initially her legs went weak and her mind blank. She didn't understand these feelings or that maybe she dared not to. She knew exactly what her feelings were now, she adored her children. She didn't know when it started but the seed has been growing in her heart. 

 She had been observing the siblings noting their schedules and daily activities and learning them by heart. Slowly her world began to revolve around them but she dared not reveal her feelings to them. She felt like she had failed them as a mother. 

She had asked Martha to secretly update her on Abigail's condition as Gabriel refused anyone getting close to her except for some chosen maids. She had already heard the news of Abigail finally waking up.

 She was thrilled!!
