Liana Eros looked at Daniel Jackson intensely as she came close to to him.
His face went pale and worried at the same time because of the way Liana was looking at him . Daniel knew that what he was about to say might affect Liana but he still decided to tell her about the insider information he got from KxT .
Liana just walked into her office as Daniel followed behind her and closed the door. Liana just sat on her office desk and said " so what's going on with KxT" she knew that the situation might be really going bad with KxT
" KxT is in a tight situation, the shareholders are removing their shares from the company which has greatly affected the market shock " Daniel said in a serious tone
" when did this happen and why are you telling me this just now " Liana asked with an annoyed look on her face
Daniel just withdrew his look from her face because he wasn't ready to face the demon living in his friend's body.
" everything happened this morning and it seems like X-Zade construction is involved with it " He replied as he brought out his phone and showed her how the the level of the shocks crashed
Liana was furious when she heard Daniel mention X-Zade construction
' what will a construction company want with a common perfume company ' thought as she got confused
" now what" Liana said in two simple words while looking at Daniel
" X-Zade construction is trying to buy KxT so that it will rise up their income boosting it to at least 10 percent per monthly ratio of earnings , in that case X-Zade will be beyond constructions " Daniel said knowing that it was a good chance X-Zade construction doesn't want to miss
" and what does that have to do with KxT withdrawing from our partnership " Liana simply asked
" oh about that , X-Zade getting involved with KxT might affect our company in a good way but it seems the management in KxT are so selfish to include us in the deal so they are withdrawing "
Liana just laughed at what he just said which caught Daniel off guard
She just simply smiled and said " selfish what a joke " she rounded her eyes then added " I will show them both how selfish I can be to them "
" what do you mean by that Lia " Daniel simply stated
" inform the HR Department about the current situation going between our company and KxT and also find out how much is the price X-Zade has set down for KxT "
Daniel was confused and want to know where Liana was heading to with her plan " Lia why do you want to know about the price "
Liana just laughed and said " I just want to own a second company I can toy with "
Daniel smiled and said " how much are you putting down "
Liana just showed him three of her fingers " triple the amount X-Zade is offering and don't waste any time , I don't want them having KxT in their hand "
Daniel got worried and said " Lia I don't think that is a good idea to get involved with Marcus Xavier "
Liana face went pale for a second but then looked at Daniel " and what does that have to do with him "
Daniel wasn't expecting that from liana because he knew very well how Marcus Xavier had treated her in the past and for some reason Liana is still scared to face him.
" Lia I Understand how much Marcus Xavier had hurt you in the past but I think you should stay away from what he wants " Daniel said in a worried tone
Liana knew that Daniel was worried that she might get hurt if she gets involved but still she can not lose the game for the second time with Marcus Xavier " listen Daniel I want KxT to be mine for so long and that is why I decided to partner up with them but still Marcus came into the picture that won't be fair on my side you know " Liana said in a serious tone
" but still it won't be good for you and Layla, don't you think you should keep her away from him " Daniel came forward and held her hands
" Daniel I can't let it slip off I just can't " Liana wasn't ready to lose this time
But before Daniel could say a word they hear a knock on the door
Letting go of his hands , Liana said " come in "
And Natasha walkad in and said " Good morning Mr Jackson " she slightly bowed her head and then turned to Liana and said " Miss Eros I have inform the team and there will be at the meeting room in a few minutes and also here is your morning coffee " Natasha said as she kept the coffee mug on the coffee table
" Miss sharp I want you to work on a new project concerning KxT which we will discuss after the meeting" Liana said as she took a sip from her coffee
" Alright and is there anything else you want " Natasha asked
"No you may leave " Liana gestured her to leave and so she left the office
" and you get me that company as soon as possible I don't want to lose it " Liana said to Daniel
Daniel knowing that Liana will not change her mind simply smiled at her and said " alright lady boss don't worry I'm on it " and with that Daniel left the office
After the door closed shot Liana sighed knowing what she was about to do might affect her in many ways and one reason was Marcus Xavier her first love and greatest nightmare
She could still remember how it ended bad between the two of them and how she couldn't forgive herself for being so foolish to fall in love with him in the past , she never regretted the time she spent with him the only thing she regrets is the fact that Veronica was in the picture which made him look down at her and yes she was stupid and selfish for getting involved in his love life and deep down she still wants him but the damage has been done and she will never be with someone that hates her never .
Speaking of hate she couldn't help but remember the first day she met Marcus Xavier and that was the day she started living in hell
