Kane's Job at the 4th Department

Kane was a combatant girl but was assigned only in the office. Because her boss mandated that all girls must be in the office only and no field work. She accepted it with a hard heart since her passion and skills were to apprehend more criminals.

Kane's job mainly is for audit. She consolidated all the reports and make a presentation for the overall accomplishment of the unit. Many times she asked that she will join the apprehending force but everyone was afraid that their head will get angry. So Kane just fit herself with the job description. She is diligent with her work and everyone relies on her. And as long as she is compensated, she dare not to mind anymore.

"Hey Kane dispatch us to Mara Seal," Bruno hurriedly said. Kane asked, "can I come?" Bruno responded, "ofcourse not!, you are the head's favorite and we didn't want any trouble, bye love." Kane was even more upset, she really wanted some action and not just sitting on her desk..."Uhhhg it's so boring. In the office, she had no girl friends because they find them boring and upsetting always talking about other people and she sensed also that they are talking about her. So she kept distance and just stay close with whom she trust and that is the Bruno's team. 

She was waiting outside for Bruno and others, waiting for some news regarding their mission. For this was supposed her team but she ain't allowed anymore to go with men force. She was excited that she prepared food and drinks for them just to get some infos. "You know what Kane, I was the frontman now and I'm glad am safe ofcourse I always follow your advice...." Everyone said in chorus..."one step forward, 4 steps backward, for safety measure...." and everyone's laughing. Bruno utter, "you know if only I got a choice, I would really choose you as the frontman always....but your daddy seems like mr. hulk when he would heard about that." Kane said, "well because he is a racist, he keeps discriminating my capacity." "When infact that he didn't know you beat Bruno all the time," Armani said. 

The team didn't finish eating when their superior called over the radio, "a robbery incident transpired at Glam street, Samala, Bruno's team prepared and everyone please be alert, we must get this criminal..." Everyone rapidly changed and depart. Kane could only watch them and thinking that "I could be one if the head only approves" she talks in despair.

"Oh Kane it's your turn on the front desk! you're so busy talking with boys that you didn't mind it's your time of duty now," says Jeda. Kane said sorry and rushed too the frontdesk. Jeda always hated her thinking that Kane snatch Bruno from her. But Jeda didn't know that Kane was already inloved with someone else. She just didn't like talking about her personal life at work and most with people whom she less trusted.

Bruno was a gentleman especially to her. But Kane only felt for Bruno just like a brother. Since they were classmate during the basic training and they had same expertise. Only that Bruno can exercise what he learned unlike Kane that's been imprisoned or more in the dungeon.

But Kane never get jealous of Bruno for taking her part in the team. That's what their superior wanted. That a team should be headed by men. So Kane just kept her skills to herself.
