At the Field
The Head Council's visit get rampant just to let the soldiers see that they were never left behind in the battle. Hamiya also liked talking to Brahman as he is full of wit and experience. Brahman was also astonished as he is talking to an angel. For Hamiya has a golden hair and a fair skin that illuminates. Brahman would like to tell her the truth many times but he failed. For now, he took a grip of not telling her because he's afraid he wont see her again.
After the frequent talking, they feel ease with each other. One day, Brahman invited her to his favorite place. It is a place where Brahman used to spend his childhood. It is a field full of crops and has a little garden with a fountain and full of beautiful flowers. Hamiya was astonished as she never seen anything like it in the upper chamber and said, "I never seen anything like this. It was so beautiful" As she was focused in solemnity and serenity and spend more time praying in her room since a child.
That day, Brahman decided to confessed his feelings to her. "Hamiya, when I first laid my eyes on you, I felt different. I can't barely sleep at night for it is your face so beautiful I can't forget. Infact you're so brave holding that sword as if no one dare to stand your way, so strong and full of vigor. My heart beats fast whenever your around. "Please stop Commander." Hamiya said, as she also felt strange hearing those words because as the Head Council supposed she had no time for anything but to devote her whole life serving the Most High. Hamiya was now confused and decided to leave, "I must go Commander."
Going back to the Upper Council, no one dare to ask why Hamiya keeps going down in the Lower Chamber. Even her maid, Keira didn't have idea. She only knew she was there to fix the problem. "Good day Head Council,' Keira greeted. She responded but hurriedly went in to her room. She was tired and so she lay down in her bed but she can't keep thinking what Brahman said. Right after that day, she suddenly went down. She can't stop seeing Brahman. She thought she also felt the same but didn't want to recognize it as to not broke her vows as the Head Council. When she met Brahman, she pretended nothing had happened. She continue to fight but now not beside Brahman as she wants to refrain talking to him and focus only with her responsibility. Brahman on the other hand was also confused. He thought that if his words hurt her or if she already knew that he was really not the Commander.
After the fight, Hamiya went to the tent to rest. There she met Jekrus. "Oh you must be the right hand of the Commander!." Jekrus had no choice but to nod and said , "Yes Head Council." He had no choice for in the first hand, he's the one who told Brahman to lie. Just to met his lover. Hamiya said, "do tell the Commander that I will just rest for awhile and then be back at the warzone." Jekrus responded, "Head Council you must not be in the battlefield, it is our job." "Who are you to tell me words like that? You people here didn't even do your job. The enemies keeps raging and your soldiers were weak." Hamiya insisted. Jekrus then apologized.
Brahman was in his favorite place he called "Havah." His comfort place where he can rest his mind from battle and stresses but for now, not on Hamiya. He can't stop thinking about her. The words he said and the thought of lying to her. That what if she already find out the truth. He breathe in breathe out while closing his eyes. After awhile when he opened his eyes, he saw Hamiya talking to the sunflowers from a distance. Hamiya later but notice that Brahman was staring at her. She was about to leave but Brahman suddenly ran towards her. "Hamiya," he said. "Oh I'm sorry I intruded your place Commander," she said. Brahman responded, "this place was not even mine, Head Council and do please stay. I know you're tired and you can rest your mind here. I will be the one to leave." "No, no Commander you can also stay." Brahman felt happy but only in his thought, for he was still thinking that he hurt Hamiya. "Hamiya, I'm so sorry to the words I utter yesterday,....... but I really meant it." Brahman apologized.
Brahman and Hamiya stayed in Havah and feel the comfort of each other. They enjoyed walking, talking, watching birds fly and the silverflow of the river. Until it's getting late that they forgot they had battles to attend to. For they enjoy each other's company. They were about to leave, when it suddenly rains. Brahman asked Hamiya to stay for awhile until the rain was gone. They find shed under the hut Brahman build when he was still a teen and the place where he mostly stayed outside his home. Hamiya felt the cold and Brahman invited her to stay in the hut.
It was getting late and the rain still didn't stop. Hamiya felt sleepy. She leaned in the window and was about to sleep when Brahman offer his arms. The night was even getting colder that they feel each other's breath intimately. They feel each other's warm and comfort that they no longer want to be separated. At that moment, something happened between them. They made love and whisper words of I love you that night. Then they fell asleep hugging each other.
In the morning, Brahman wake up first and cannot contain the happiness he felt being beside the one he loves. He watch her face, kiss her lips and whisper words of I love you to Hamiya while she still sleeps. That moment, Brahman decided to tell the truth, hoping that Hamiya will just understand his explanation. Hamiya wakes up and felt relieved she was with Brahman and she hugged him so tight. Then Brahman said, "My Hamiya, my love, I love you. I'm so happy you're in my arms right now." "Oh Brahman," Hamiya responded. "My love there's something I must tell you." Hamiya utter, "What is it my love?" Brahman told her, "I am not really the commander, I'm Jekrus right hand." "Wait, What?! Hamiya was enraged. As she felt the betrayal that Brahman did and also the thought that she despise the order from Above Council that she is not to be involve in intimate relationship with other being. Hamiya suddenly leave in the field without a word.
