167 Not Such A Calm Night After All

Chapter 167: Not Such A Calm Night After All

The creature she had attracted in the murky water had nothing to do with Gill.

Sure, it also was an amphibian monster with the same overall features, but it had nothing to do with the Gill she had come to know for the better part of the day. She was trapped. She couldn't cancel what she had hoped to do now. It was too late. The darker amphibian creature pulled harder and stronger on her leg. It was hellbent on bringing her down below, into the water with it.

"Come with me already! You know you want it!" the darker underwater creature told her as he dragged her down below.

"Are you out of my mind? I was waiting for someone else!" April yelled out at the perverted creature, who had already tried licking her thick and exposed thigh with his long and dirty tongue.

While April was taken by surprise by the sudden arrival of a creature she had never met before, she felt too awkward and worried about her own life to be enjoying this. Even though she'd be enjoying this during normal circumstances and a slightly more controlled environment and with Junk instead of a monster, she didn't know. Junk was the only one she was interested in.

And this wasn't the kind of environment she was comfortable with. Having Junk doing this same thing to her would have been something remarkably erotic to her. Instead, getting apprehended, touched, and licked by another random bog monster didn't arouse her quite at all, but she felt like this was going a little too far and that she was making a mistake. Going out there and fishing for Gill simply to speak to him was one thing, but ending up catching (or being caught) by a stranger creature wasn't the same thing at all.

She suddenly regretted leaving Junk. He was still sleeping in the old library of the wooden cabin. It was too late. She couldn't warn him or September at this point. She tried. But as she was about to shout for her friends, she was pulled right into the water. Taking off the wooden porch. She was gone. She was pulled right into the water, ripped from her friends, and the warm comfort of the cabin.

"You are going to be an amusing treat. First: A nice sleeve for my cock…" the darker fish monster said to her underwater, as he could still echo his voice through the vibrations in the water.

Meanwhile, the young, elvish lady couldn't speak at all. She screamed underwater. Still tried calling for help. No one was coming for her.

"... And then second: You are going to be making for a delicious dinner," the monster completed his sentence as he was about to proceed to take off her green nightgown when‒all of a sudden‒the monster was pushed away from her. Something stopped him.

Someone stopped him before he could rip her green nightgown off of her. April closed her eyes, only for a short second before re-opening them and witnessing that, there was a shadow in the water. It was the shadowy silhouette of another fish creature, similar to the one who assaulted her.

Could it be? April thought to herself as she desperately tried swimming back up to the surface, but was having a tough time doing so because of all the grand movements taking place all around her. Every time she attempted to swim back up to the surface, movements under the water would push her back down. Soon, she'd be running out of air for sure. April was covering up her mouth the entire time. Trying to do her best not to run out of air and continue living.

The new shadow was seen punching the perverted assailant in the face and therefore making a hole in his head. April witnessed it all. The dark fish monster who attacked her was dead. Half of his head was gone, and red blood oozed out into crimson clouds in swamp water.

He floated away. Then, the shadow, which had recently shown up, turned around after finishing the monster. April was dangerously running out of air. She tried swimming back up to the surface one more time, but the massive movements, and the huge waves caused by the final blow delivered to the monster were, unfortunately, lowering deeper into the water again.

Running out of oxygen more and more, her eyes were slowly closing. It was over for her… The hope of ever getting back up to the surface was slim. Her eyes were finally closed and the last thing she saw was the shadow person swimming closer and closer toward her. It was even closer as it got closer to her: The silhouette of the shadow person was the same… It was the same as the creature she had originally wished to meet tonight before all of this unfortunate event even came to me. Furthermore, it was him. No doubt. Too bad it was too late for her now. She fully shut her eyes and disappeared into the darkness of the bog.

Darkness.

So much of it.

When April regained consciousness and re-opened her eyes, she was back on the wooden porch of the cabin. She was completely wet, dripping in water. Her vision was quite foggy at first, but when she fully re-opened her eyes and was able to see something again, she saw him, she saw Gill standing over her on the porch. She had been rescued by him. As she thought it was the case, he was indeed the shadowy shape underwater, which saved her from the other fish creature. She was alive. She smiled. Not only that, but she was reassured that it was him. She was so happy.

"You should be alright now," Gill told her with a reassuring voice.

"I am…"

"You scared me. You know that?" he said to her.

"Sorry. I was looking for you," she replied to him.

"You were?" he cocked his head to the side, confused.

She nodded.

"I wanted to thank you for helping us."
