Horizon

"Hey.", She called, "Hmm, what's up?" The boy looked down at her, laying at his crossed legged lap. "Got some?" Asking for some relief, the boy gave her some cigarettes.

"You can be more generous, you know..." Looking at his near-empty case of cigarettes, the boy added- "My dad's gonna find something fishy going on in his cigarette stash sooner or later if you keep smoking this much..." She only gave a quiet simple 'yeah yeah' and pulled out a liter. The boy layed down in the grass, time going by smoothly.

"How long do think we can keep this up..." Finding his hand on hers, she continued. "I mean, we've been dating for at least months now... And I think my parents already know..." Clenching softly, the boy said- "Don't worry, we'll get through this somehow... And it's their fight, not ours." Facing the sky, the boy continues. "This family rivalry's been going on for far too long. I think it's about time we turn the gears our way, yeah?"

Looking at his shit eating grin, the girl smiled, and said- "Yeah... Let's make it a thing of the past. But for now, let's just enjoy the view..." Through the orange hue of the sunrise, the couple watched the sun at the horizon, a great future awaiting them at it's end.
