???:ALASTOR!!! Give me back my candy I know you took it.

ALASTOR: To late shouldn't have left it on the counter.

Annette: Alastor if you know it isn't yours you do not take for that you can't have jambalaya for a week. Alex I'll get you more candy tomorrow for now talk boys go wash up supper will be ready soon.

Alexandre & Alastor: yes mama

The boys both go and wash there hands and come back to sit at the dinner table.

Annette:Let's not forget to thank the lord for this meal would you like to lead today Alex?

Alexandre: Yes mom, Thank you, Lord, for this food before us. May it nourish our bodies and bless our time together. Amen.

Annette: so how was today boys?

Alastor: It was good I heard a radio in town today it was amazing I can't wait to be able to talk on radio myself.

*Annette smiles and jokes*

Annette:I hear they make good money you can take care of me when Iam old and gray then right dear.

*Alastor grins*

Alastor: of course mother I may be able to even help Alex get a job he can be my butler.

*Alex laughs*

Alex: ha you wish I'll be the richest person eventually and buy all the radio stations and make you advertise women's lingerie all day.

*Annette sighs while smiling slightly*

Annette: I'll spank you both if you don't cut it out your brothers. Alex you have to protect your younger brother y'all both need to stick together and help each other when you can.

*Alex smiles*

Alex: don't worry mama we might argue a lot but if he needs me I'll be there but since radio does pay well he'll have to pay me a decent amount.

*Alastor smiles*

Alastor: oh, I thought you were gonna be the richest man eventually surely you won't need my meager pocket change.

*Alex frowns slightly*

Alex: Well time is money as they say so I should still be paid for my time Iam already giving you a discount for being my brother otherwise you'd never be able to pay enough.

*Alex and Alastor stare at each other then start laughing*

*Annette smiles and watches the boys*

Annette: so how was your day and are you sure you want to leave for the army Alex.

*Alex thinks a bit before answering*

Alex: We have been through this mom I'll be ok no need to worry I'll be safe I promise and what about your day mama?

*Annette smiles while sighing *

Annette: I can't not worry your my son and I love you but as long as you promise to be safe and write to me weekly I'll manage. And my day is terrific when y'all two are in it.

*Both boys blush slightly*

Annette: Alright both of y'all go wash up and head to bed we have a busy day tomorrow.

The next morning

*Alastor wakes up and heads into the kitchen for breakfast, Alastor sees Annette cooking eggs and bacon*

Alastor:(I wonder how mom was able to afford bacon and supper last night it's almost the end of the month hope she doesn't push herself to hard)

*Annette glances at Alastor and sees him frowning *

Annette: what's on your mind dear?

*Alastor sighs and thinks something up*

Alastor: nothing mama just thinking how unfair I was born second and still have to more years of school left.

*Annette smiles then frowns and acts hurt*

Annette:oh so your tired of spending time with me now is that it I guess you're all grown up and don't need me no more.

*Annette acts like she wipes tears away*

*Alastor frowns*

Alastor: No mother I was just thinking it will be boring with out Alex there to mess with. I'd never not need you.

*Annette ask even more hurt*

Annette: so your saying it's not fun when I teach you. I didn't know I was so boring.

*Alastor panics*

Alastor: No I…I…that's not what I meant

*Annette starts laughing*

Annette: I am only joking dear I am fun I know see. haha

*Alastor grins*

Alastor: Not funny mom and I'll get you back.

Annette: Iam sure you will dear I'll make sure to teach you something fun when Alex leaves to join the army and speaking of him can you go and wake him up he'll sleep all day if not.

*Alastor without thinking much about what she said answers with yes and goes to knock on Alex's door*

Alastor yells: if you don't wake up soon mom said I can have all the bacon.

*Alex wakes up and yells back*

Alex: Touch my bacon and I'll take your glasses and hide them!

*Alastor smiles*

Alastor: better hurry then

*Alex quickly washes up and gets to the table*

Annette: are you nervous about leaving Alex?

*Alex chucles*

Alex: Iam nervous and excited.

Annette:well know that I'll always be supporting you even if we are seas apart your brother supports you to.

*Alastor and Alex stare at each other and make faces*

*Alastor smiles*

Alastor: I can't wait to have another room maybe tear the walls down and make it even better.

*Annette sighs*

Annette: Alastor enough he'll always have a room here no matter what. Either way you'll be late if we don't go now Alex I'll walk you to the bus stop.

Alex: your right I'll go get dressed and get my bag.

*Alex rushes off to get ready*

*Annette and Alex both head out once Alex is ready*

Anne:Alex I need to tell you something and I need you to promise not to tell your brother.

*Alex frowns but nods and says*

Alex:I promise

Anne:if anything happens promise to always take care of alastor he doesn't have many real friends it's like he puts a mask on in public and besides me and you he doesn't have anyone else it scares thinking about the future.

*Alex smiles*

Alex: Al is tougher than you think and ill always be there for him even if I die I'll look after him in the after life if I can I promise mom and take it easy you need a break sometimes to you look tired.

*Anne smiles and tears up a bit*

Anne: Thanks and I'll miss you Alex be safe and when you get back from serving I'll have some dates set up when you get back so I can get some nice grandkids.

*Alex blushes*

Alex:No problem and I'll get you grand kids some day I promise but it's distance in the future is far. Bye mom love you and tell all love him to and to behave while Iam gone.

*Anne chuckles*

Anne:haha love you I'll be waiting for your letters and I'll tell Al.

*Alex boards the bus and waves out the window*

*Anne walks back and sees Alastor sad

And smiles*

Anne:Alastor what have I always tails you about frowning.

*Alastor slowly smiles and says*

Alastor:Your not fully dressed without a smile

Anne:I know you miss your brother but I promise that he'll be ok so smile.and he said he loves you.

Alastor:thanks mama.

Anne:it's time for lesson now to day I wanna teach you something special.

*Anne smiles*
