After a series of sharp turns and a bumpy ride, Nigel finally arrived. After settling the fare, he stepped out onto the pavement, facing the imposing facade of 12 Grimmauld Place.
As Nigel stepped through the gate of Grimmauld Place, he felt a surge of powerful magic and enchantment surrounding the estate. The air seemed to crackle with ancient spells, weaving a protective web around the property. Despite its outward appearance of neglect, the estate exuded an aura of formidable magic, a testament to the ancient enchantments that guarded it for generations.
Inside the palace, Nigel found it filled with dirt and dust, evidence of years of neglect. Before he could ponder further, he was startled by a sudden cracking noise, indicating the arrival of a house-elf.
'I knew he'd appear when I stepped inside, but I didn't expect it to be this late. Perhaps due to his old age and mental issues. If not for my magic sphere, which detects magic within a 3-meter radius, he would have startled me,' Nigel thought.
"Who dares to come to the estate of the most noble and ancient House of Black? I shall..." The house elf suddenly halted in his rambling when he felt the drop in temperature, a chill ran up his spine. When he looked up, he saw two glowing blue piercing eyes of an apex predator prying his prey. He suddenly knelt, clutching his heart, unable to breathe. But didn't dare to utter a single word due to fear.
"I, Nigel Black, son of Regulus Arcturus Black, Heir to the Most Noble and Ancient House of Black, feel the connection through the bond. From now on, I am your master. You shall take command only by me, my wish will be your command," Nigel coldly replied. With each word, his magic flared, creating a suffocating aura, a small display of his vast power. His tone was commanding, leaving no room for argument.
House elf suddenly bowed his head so low that his head was touching the floor, recognizing that the person standing in front of him was the new heir, whose mere presence commanded respect.
"Yes, master," the elf replied slowly but audibly enough.
"Rise. What is your name?" Nigel questioned, now with a calm yet authoritative tone.
The house elf slowly stood up and replied, "My name is Kreacher, master," while shivering, not forgetting the imposing presence.
"Very well. Clean the whole estate. I shall return in 2 weeks. Prepare the master bedroom for me, and separate any cursed objects in one of the rooms in the basement. I will decide on their necessities in the estate," ordered Nigel.
"Yes, Master Black. Your work shall be done by your next visit in 2 weeks," replied Kreacher while bowing.
After finishing his instructions, emphasizing that every task should be executed with perfection, to take regular breaks, and strictly not to take any commands other than from him or Lord Black, Nigel left. His return trip held no significance.
After returning back to the orphanage, he ate dinner and retired to bed. While resting, 'That feeling when someone is kneeling in front of you Noo Not That... Yes this, The feeling of having superior power and authority is intoxicating; no doubt people like Madra used to love such feelings. Now I have to taste battle to see if I like that feeling,' Nigel thought, a dangerous gleam present in his eye, with a smile that can send chills to even someone who witnessed bloodshed. With that thought, he goes to sleep in the arms of dreams.
The next morning, Nigel woke up with a yawn, acknowledging the significance of having a good sleep.
He then proceeded with his morning routine.
